Jealousy, a sinister vice, led to the loss of my friend.
Mia was excited about prom because Leo would take her. I wanted Leo to take me. I lied and took Mia's place at the prom with Leo.
Mom was unhappy with me. "She's your friend! You should be ashamed!"
