Mine Hive (HIVEBITS) Via Engagement!
I came across the introduction post of Hivebits (HBIT), a new Hive engine token and could not wait to spread the news.
We know engagement is one important aspect of Hive that keeps the Blockchain active and exciting. And there are tokens that reward commenters and writers as well for their efforts in the chain.
Hivebits is a new comment-based, hive engine token that is earned via mining Hive. This is similar to Bitcoin mining.
How does this work, you may ask? According to the introduction post, you can earn some HBIT tokens simply by commenting anywhere on the Hive blockchain by typing !hivebits.
This mining can be done just once in 24 hours. The maximum supply of the HBIT token is 21 million and its decimal precision is 8. With @hivebits, the commenter rewards himself/herself.
Ways To Get Some Hivebits
There are only 3 ways to get some HBIT:
(a) By mining once per day, or
(b) When it's received as a gift after someone else has mined it, or
(c) By purchasing it on the open market after someone else has mined it.
