RE: Boston Strangler (2023)

You are viewing a single comment's thread:

Maybe I am one of the "thrill-seeking audiences who are faint-hearted" but I enjoyed this film without the gore or bloodshed. And the women were strangled so its doubtful there would be any bloodshed to display. Keira Knightly is one of my favourite actress and she's great with biographies and historic films.

I wasn't impressed with how the film ended too and I made that clear in my review. I believe it's because the police did not get concrete evidence. Several men were somehow involved but their evidences were circumstantial at best except for Albert DeSalvo. If the film had attempted to name one or two persons as the killer(s), they would be rewriting history. So I understand why the film ended this way.

Beautifully written review! !LUV 🙂

Well, yes, the acting is flawless. Perhaps the police dept could do more to find out the killers and so, we could watch a masterful adoption in the film at the ending. But, we do not want movies to be presenting made-up stories in this kind of narrative, right? So, it's a decent one. Thank you for your brilliant explanation 👍❤️
