I did not obey Inahan Elena's order to check into the emergency bunker. Everyone was distracted. The Council and our security team scurried around to get the situation under control and make sure the children were safe. I hid beside a window which gave me a view of the whole show outside. No one would miss me.

The crushed sedan cars halted the military truck from moving further. I could see Akita seated on the passenger side beside the driver whose eyes bulged in shock at the damage he had caused.

Akita had the truck driver's mind under her control. His face contorted in pain as he struggled to redirect the truck elsewhere rather than towards the five Council elders standing in front of the mansion. One of them ordered the driver to stop the vehicle and get out of it. Akita grinned cruelly or gritted her teeth, I could not tell but she held onto the steering wheel as well as the driver. The truck kicked up some dust and drove forward towards the mansion.

Elder Adah spread his hands wide apart and pulled enough wind to himself before redirecting it to push back the military truck. The others watched in shock. The plan failed as the truck groaned and forced its way through the strong wind. The driver screamed in agony as blood flowed from his nose, ears and eyes displaying the overload of his mind.

The elders gave way and ran in different directions and the truck crashed into the main doorway to the mansion. The heavy impact shook the mansion to its foundation. I screamed in shock and stopped breathing. The truck driver died on the spot.

Akita hit her head on the wind screen and was out for like two seconds before she got up and jumped out of the truck. This is bad! Why would Akita do these?

One of us dangling in the air in my peripheral vision caught my attention. I stared harder through the glass window. Inahan Elena was a few feet up in the air, struggling to breathe as she clawed at her neck and her legs wiggled.

A force held her up and was suffocating her. Her head was bent to the side at a bad angle and could be twisted easily which could kill her.

"NO!" I screamed and forced my way out into the open.
