What a weekend!

This has been a good weekend. It has also been a fairly lazy weekend by my own making. Hehe.

You see, sometimes, it can be really good to take your mind off the hustle and bustle of life. When you take your mind off it and ignore the race-like life we are seemingly made to live, you will be able to pay more attention to your well-being. By so doing, you will also get to enjoy the little things that matter in life.

I guess you can already imagine why I chose to be a little lazy this weekend. I didn't do much of posting, reading or writing. For the record, I consider these things to be fun but the fact that I support myself and my family financially based on what I earn here also makes it feel like 'work' or 'a job'. Hehe.

So, this weekend was more about doing other things I love (aside from reading and writing) without getting any monetary reward for those.

Highlight of the major things that kept me busily lazy this weekend.

Firstly, I participated in an awful lot of podcasts this weekend. Haha. I joined 3 of those and I also got to make an appearance in the weekend hangout show that holds on Ecency's discord channel. It was so fun to be there are have nice chat with so many adorable humans 🙂.

Secondly, I dived deep into the Kdrama World. I finally got to watch the last 4 episodes of Alice. It was so freaking annoying. Haha. You know how it is with all these sci-fi series about time travel and how they seem to repeat the same thing again and again. The last set of episodes were quite draggy and also boring. Lolz. It's still a decent series to have on your watchlist.

Lastly (but not least), I got to play around with my fpl team. Lolz. Sports fans, especially those that play FPL, will know how it feels to always check the live update in a game when a player in your FPL team is playing. It is similar to having a horse in a race. Haha. You will never get to relax until the final whistle.

That's pretty much how this weekend was spent.

It got a pass as a fairly good weekend. I also got to prepare a decent meal today.

I'm looking forward to Monday and the busyness that comes with it as it introduces a new week to us. Haha.
