Nurturing Growth, Defying Gravity, and the Countdown to February Harvest

Now that my pumpkin fruit has grown sizable and is hanging from the trellis I constructed, it requires support. This makeshift pumpkin holder is the only solution I could think of to provide the necessary support.

I initially intended to use this net for creating shade in our washing machine area, but the challenge of making a hole in the wall led me to repurpose it as a support for my growing pumpkin fruit.

This approach lets most passersby know that the pumpkin is nurtured and expected to grow, deterring theft or unwanted touching. Currently, I haven't installed the fake CCTV and light, as I might forget or simply feel too lazy to move.

As of now, five promising pumpkin fruits are showing positive growth, and I'm closely monitoring others. To ensure optimal nutrient distribution, I trim the tips of the pumpkins that tend to lengthen, preventing any further competition for nutrients among the growing fruits.

As the pumpkin fruits grow heavier, I observed a slight sag in the central support. To address this, I've added an additional wooden post in the middle, providing crucial reinforcement. With this adjustment, I'm optimistic about a successful harvest in the last month of February.
