Welcome to my blog. I hope you’re all doing well. After being away for a few days, I want to tell you about my anniversary celebration at Pie de Monte.

Diego and I were looking for a place to spend some time together, but we didn’t want to go too far. So we looked for something right here in the city. Among the options, we found several places with pools and spaces for activities.

And we decided to choose this place because it fit our budget and because it’s a nice spot. We went there a weekend before the date and booked the place. The idea was to spend a whole day there and enjoy ourselves. So we arrived at 4 p.m., checked in, and the first thing we did was jump in the pool, even though the sky was gray and the weather was cold.

We had planned to have dinner there, since the inn has a restaurant on-site. So after enjoying the pool, we watched a few episodes of an anime I was following, took a shower, got ready, and went to dinner. We chose the house-made burgers. I had the chicken patty and Diego had the beef patty.

Finally, we went to our room to keep watching the series and then a movie. We actually couldn’t finish watching it because we got sleepy. So, we went to bed. And the next morning, we finished the movie.

Our lodging included breakfast, so we went down early to eat. I ordered a traditional Venezuelan breakfast, which included beans, and it was truly delicious. We really enjoyed our stay and had a wonderful day.

After leaving the inn, we went to lunch—of course, at our favorite spot, Wakame—where we enjoyed their exquisite sushi and ended Sunday on a high note.

Next year, I’d like to go to the beach. So I hope to plan it well in advance.

Bienvenidos a mi blog. Espero que se encuentren bien. Luego de varios días sin estar por aquí. Les quiero contar como fue mi aniversario en Pie de Monte.

Diego y yo estabamos buscando un sitio donde compartir, no queríamos irnos tan lejos. Así que buscamos algo aquí en la ciudad. Entre las opciones, vimos varios sitios con piscina y con espacios para hacer actividades.

Y decidimos escoger este lugar porque se adaptaba a nuestro presupuesto y porque es un lindo espacio. Fuimos un fin de semana antes de la fecha y reservamos el lugar. La idea era pasar un día entero y disfrutar. Así que llegamos a las 4 de la tarde, nos registramos, y lo primero que hicimos fue meternos en la piscina, aunque el cielo estaba gris y el clima frio.

Teniamos planificado cenar allí, ya que la posada tiene un restaurante incluido. Así que despues de disfrutar de la piscina, vimos unos capitulos de un anime que yo estaba viendo, nos bañamos, nos alistamos y fuimos a cenar. Escogimos las hamburguesas de la casa. Yo con croqueta de pollo y Diego con croqueta de carne.

Finalmente, fuimos a nuestra habitación a seguir viendo la serie y por ultimo una película. La verdad no pudimos verla completa porque nos dio sueño. Por lo tanto, nos fuimos a descansar. Y en la mañana siguiente terminamos la pelicula.

Nuestro hospedaje incluia el desayuno, así que temprano fuimos a desayunar. Yo pedí un desayuno llanero, así que incluia caraotas y la verdad estaba delicioso. Disfrutamos mucho nuestra estancia y celebramos nuestro día de maravilla.

Luego de salir de la posada, fuimos a almorzar, por supuesto a nuestro lugar favorito, Wakame, alla disfrutamos de su exquisito Sushi y cerramos el domingo con broche de oro.

El proximo año me gustaría que fuera en la playa. Así que espero planificarlo con tiempo.
