Hello Hivers of the World. Welcome to my blog for another day. I tell you that when it comes to Chinese food, my mom and I have our favorite place to eat here in San Cristobal. But sometimes, you can't eat where exactly we want, and the story goes like this....
It turns out that my mom and I were out running errands, because I was looking for a bathing suit for a trip I have coming up, which I will tell you about in my next posts, but this is not the case, the thing is, we were running late on the street, we were hungry, we hadn't left anything prepared or ahead of time at home, and the urge to not cook added up.
Therefore, we thought of eating in a Chinese restaurant in the center, since the one we always go to was far from there and we thought, why not try a new one. Only by trying you know where not to go back to. We had zero references to the place, so it was literally a leap of faith. However, there were people eating inside, so that was a nice plus.
We chose an $18 combo which included 2 pots of Chinese rice, 2 plain lumpias, sweet and sour chicken and pork ribs. Meal for three people. We ordered it to go and they charged us extra for the containers, we also added a cold Cola Cola to the combo.
When we got home we ate, the food was normal, not bad, but not exquisite. Nothing like our favorite restaurant.
The important thing about trying new restaurants, is that you know where you have to go back and where not and you can also discover new flavors.

Hola Hivers del Mundo. Bienvenidos un día más a mi blog. Les cuento que cuando se trata de comida China, mi mamá y yo tenemos nuestro sitio de comida favorito aquí en San Cristóbal. Pero a veces, no se puede comer donde exactamente queremos, y la historia dice así...
Resulta que salimos de diligencias mi mamá y yo, porque estaba buscando un traje de baño para un paseo que tengo pronto, del cual les hablaré en mis publicaciones siguientes, pero este no es el caso, el caso es que, se nos hizo tarde en la calle, teníamos hambre, no habíamos dejado nada preparado ni adelantado en casa, y se sumaron las ganas de no cocinar.
Por lo tanto, pensamos en comer en un restaurante de comida china en el centro, ya que al que siempre vamos quedaba lejos de allí y pensamos, en ¿por qué no probar uno nuevo?. Solo probando se sabe a donde no regresar. Teníamos cero referencias del lugar, así que era literal un salto de fe. Sin embargo, había gente comiendo adentro, así que eso era un buen punto a favor.
Escogimos un combo de 18$ que incluía 2 potes de arroz chino, 2 lumpias sencillas, pollo agridulce y costillas de cerdo. Comida para tres personas. Lo pedimos para llevar y extra nos cobraron lo envases, también agregamos al combo una Cola Cola bien fría.
Al llegar a casa comimos, la comida estaba normal, no estaba fea, pero no estaba exquisita. Nada como nuestro restaurante favorito.
Lo importante de probar nuevos restaurantes, es que ya sabes a donde tienes que volver y a donde no y también se pueden descubrir nuevos sabores.

Lastima porque el local se ve tan bonito. Pero es que por 18$ todo eso ya iba a decir demasiado barato, lo importante es que ya saben que allí no vuelven

La verdad es que en las fotos se ve muy buena la comida pero nada como probarla uno mismo para saber que tan buena es. Al menos les queda la experiencia y ya saben que su restaurante favorito no les falla 💯

Noo, pero el restaurante se ve grandioso jaja no hay nada más triste que comprar comida y no esté rica😰 lo importante es que ya saben donde no volver y ellos, perdieron dos clientes
Así es, es muy triste cuando hay expectativas buenas del lugar y te defrauda, pero bueno, malas experiencias se tienen y se aprende de ellas jaja.

Excelente muy increíble todo aunque pienso que las limpias pudieran quedar un poco más doradas ya que yo las recuerdo que eran súper crocantes pero con una costra bastante anaranjada casi marrón 😎🤯
Así es esas limpias estaban como anémicas jaja con falta de color. Pero bueno, no siempre se tiene lo que se quiere! Gracias por pasarte! 🥰
