2022 Niue $2 Pirates of the Caribbean – The Queen Anne’s Revenge

Pirate News; Johnny Depp MAY not want to return for Pirates of the Caribbean 6 and even if he does cave in to Disney’s million$ I doubt he will use it to buy Hive/HBD or save this coin series destined for the Clearance bin for spot price. But with premiums insanely high maybe not, we shall see if this appears at my Local clearance bin at a buck or two over spot. ☠️
The Coin.
And with even lesser importance, Johnny is dating his Libel case Lawyer Joelle Rich , this can’t be right! And that’s I’ve been saying about Disney’s Pirates of the Caribbean silver bullion coin series so far. As my previous ramblings regarding the short comings of this product design, I find it unnecessary to repeat the same thing. Instead, I’ll just welcome this coin as an addition to my cherished Queen Anne’s Revenge Collection.
Nyssacat thinks this Johnny & Joelle thing is to get a discount on Legal fees, with the capricious and fickle nature of Celeb relationships, I'd tend agree.
As we #silvergoldstackers say, "Silver is silver."
And, I am a bit of a sucker 🍭 for Pirate themed silver.
What else could I say of this most famous pirate ship, but I shall continue to collect this series.
With this version of the Queen Anne’s Revenge tucked away in my silver ship chest I will await the arrival of Captain Salazar’s Silent Mary coming soon.

A cool name for a ship, a fearsome Captain, and with the passage of time makes this infamous ship just as famous in what it represents than for what it is.
I saved the BEST for last. Mr. Packard says that the QAR is the most requested subject in his career. A masterpiece! Compared to the Disney product.

Aye, it was discovered at a wee Canadian coin store website along with a Kraken round by the same mint. I reconnoitered for a few cheap silver rounds to make the order worthwhile before I fired my broadside. The rest is history.

The Silver coin is nice. Queen Anne's Revenge is well designed, ships are special !
Ships on coins represent exploration, trade, and commerce to the point of someone deciding to put cannons on the ships.
The Queen Anne's Revenge was a former French slave ship, La Concordia. The QAR was destroyed when she was run aground at Topsail inlet off the South Carolina coast. The wreck site is designated a Heritage site.

Saw that sword again hehe..
Just opening a package containing a silver bar using 'Fang' my Iaido Katana. It's not very sharp. Lol! I think my eyes where closed when I actually swung. I risked damaging the silver bar and the blade doing this, but made a great Gif.

The coin with the Silent Mary will likely be still Queen Elizabeth Regina II. should the series continue in 2023 it may likely be Charles III. Unless you were referring to the duly elected Pirate King Elizabeth Swan as in the "Ends of the World".
