Welcome back to my third attempt posting with InLeo and at this point I'm not sure I can continue to use this Dapp as it is simply not suited to my long form posting any easier. Back on November 23, 2023 was a long awaited Black Friday deal from a Silver bullion artist Kevin B. the sole purveyor and swarthy proprietor of Mutiny Metals a bullion establishment that was around when Silver pouring was at its infancy and pirate silver bullion was but a little sparkle in my eye.

There were Black Friday deals in the past years I had missed but I was prepared this time. Most important to complete arrrrh… the Pirate Flag bars as the primary objective plus a few choice targets of seafaring opportunity to fill out the remaining budget I had set. Though I had keen eye on Kevin’s 10 Troy oz, Flagship bar I will have to wait for another time.

I believe this would be my forth order from him. Eleven ounces of his shiny pouring finery and hopefully have in my hooks by Christmas. But alas, my postage system was playing waiting games with my inbound bullion booty and I would have had tracking on it to see if the CBSA apes were sitting on my packages once again in their diabolical plot to hatch some Taxable income from. It did not arrive before Christmas.

After six weeks the package finally arrived on January 3rd to both Kevin and my relief. The package did feel a little heavier than I expected. Opening the well protected contents I counted sixteen pieces, five more than the eleven I had originally ordered. I contacted Kevin about the 5 additional pieces perhaps that he may have put someone else’s goods in my package by mistake!

He said, ‘Merry Christmas 😊'

💋 Kevin, I’m sure you don’t do that for all your customers, but as long as you keep making them ☠️ cool , I’ll keep coming back as a long time customer.

I believe it is the policy established by our Canadian Ministry of Fear and Panic to have every incoming package screened by the CBSA for our protection then charge $10 plus taxes and applicable duties on top of that. I know its a racket to generate revenue for the oversized government machine.

I fixed that link of the Flagship bar.

A reward for being a long time customer. He is one of the few Pourers that made any Pirate themed silver. To date I have over 50 pieces of his over the years since I began to branch out my Stacking interests. Now that I've updated the Pirate flag series I can get to finish my re-writes of next Chronicles of the Bloody Raven...

He has his own niche of stamped poured silver since 2015 and you may find his catalog prices a bit high for your taste for this genre of fun silver. The silver Reale may a poured round may be one that you'd like but it may be discontinued at this time. It will be on my next post.

I still think these are cool since I first started buying his poured silver products in early 2016. I still follow his brand on Instagram. Of these three pieces, I purchased the Pirate Princess and the two Viking longboat rounds I got as a gift from Kevin. I bet he knew I like collecting the silver ships.

I started collecting his special silver back in 2015 sharing them on YouTube and Hive. He does follow me and appreciates me sharing them to my followers and subscribers. Giving him some publicity is the least I can do for gifting two Viking Longboat rounds. I think he knows that I am fond of silver ships. 😉

Being a niche silver product his catalog price is rather high unless you're crazy about Pirate themed silver like me, I'd be glad to pay for the FUN premium just to enjoy having them in a special Pirate chest.

What a bunch of pretty coins. Like I'm not a pirate girl (although I love treasure hunts lol) but damn girl, you got an eye for the prettiest coins out there. These are absolutely stunning!

What a gem, this seller! It's true though, these relationships matter big time. I'm not at that point in terms of silver shopping but I remember very well from my days as a webshop owner that my most trustworthy and valued wholesaler always went above and beyond for me and the time it cost me to build that relationship was well worth it.

I'm always pleased to read that this is still a thing and there are still people valuing this over making a quick buck only.

Most of the world has forgotten the value of customer loyalty and supporting business that bring a value to a given community that go beyond the corporate bottom line.

A lot of changes happened over the years around my community, most dramatic is the loss of many Mom & Pop small specialty businesses to the big box and chain stores. The Pandemic wiped out most of them.

There's a stubborn little Chinese corner store I admire, competing against a big Grocer chain located across the street. I'll just go check out their flower stand.

Yes, I think it's sad that this is where most are heading. Some are forced to, as you said, they've all been wiped out during the pandemic.. it's really sad to see and realize.

We still have a lot of Chinese stores here, it's a real thing here and they are everywhere, but I've seen the quality decline a lot of the the years (not just here) .. I buy things there but when I need something lasting, it's often smarter to order online or find another store.
