I think our support of any disaster victims begin here on Hive to those we know, what form it takes depends on our creative individual or community wide approach. I wonder what happens inside our communities, what was done, I'd be interested on the on going stories.

I've noticed that most of us women in Hive in Venezuela are carrying out individual relief efforts to get aid directly to the refugees, who have lost everything in this disaster.
This is an excellent imitative @chacald.dcymt , my news media reports disaster relief at an organizational level rather on an individual basis or at the grass roots level. This is the perfect opportunity to read about personal experiences and observations in dealing with the overwhelming human tragedy.
I have prepared but I have never experienced a disaster of this magnitude.
I am a retired Nurse with a disability yet should the same disaster occur in my home city I would immediately volunteer at my nearby local hospital in providing care for what will be an enormous number of injured to deal with.
That is the sentiment that has led my city—more than 800 kilometers away—to already send 30 metric tons of humanitarian aid in the form of food, medicine, and other supplies collected by university students. Teams of doctors and nurses from various hospitals, as well as civilian volunteers, have traveled across the country to extend that helping hand.

we once did something like this on hive in 2022, not minding that we are from different countries. Like you said, we can start here on hive...it's doable .
I made an entry to this prompt already and I captured what we did here on Hive back then on the post, just incase you want to take a look.
