Your experience is not unique.
A similar occurrence has happened to me as I slept, awakening to my room to find it much darker and colder than it usually was. There seemed to be a presence at the same time as if I wasn't alone and I could not move for some time until my body can move and the early morning light filled my room like a lamp turning on. I looked around and things looked normal again, I relaxed and finally fell asleep, but in my brief dream a Demon pursued and challenged me. I stood my ground and ordered it, "Begone from me in the name of Jesus Christ, the Son of God!" It immediately departed without further word.
As physical laws governs the material world, spiritual Laws govern the spirit world.
