The Great River Mint’s 1 Troy Oz ‘Amazon Warrior’ Bar

Another obscure silver bar from the Great River Mint so jumping on desktop to delve back into this particular bar and the mint that made it. I’ve made a prior post on a Dragon Bar from the very same mint only to come up with no further information since Christmas. Only the footprint URL is found on the Search engine results, is now what is left of this private mint, clicking on the URL led only to a dead end. This mint is gone but left us with some nice bars.

This could just be very well generic silver as most stackers will consider it as, but I just can let it go.

Numista, Ebay, silverartcollector.com, Apmex, Provident Metals all have no archived information on even the name of this lovely bar. With very little information to go on I have simply dub this bar as the ‘Amazon Warrior' bar for now, unless @stockjockey has better information than I have.

My first impression, and likely yours as well, that this design is largely inspired by the Britannia with Oriental border. The similarities are notable but not enough to draw the wrath of the Royal Mint. There could be a few other designs that lent their inspiration so let’s indulge with a little speculation.

Britannia strikes a dramatic action pose in this 2018 Oriental tribute to commemorate the long profitable trade relations with the far east. Her origins heralds back to the Roman Empire, wears a Corinthian helmet, armed with a Trident spear, and defends her kingdom with her stout shield bearing the Union Jack.

Meanwhile, this 1902 British trade Dollar, Britannia is more stoic and regal in character, projecting her Naval power as emphasized by the East Indiaman trade ship in the background.

Yes everyone. I caved again to Trade Dollar Stackitis.

Another possible source of inspiration may be my favorite of the Silver Shield line is the original 2013 Sic Semper Tyrannis “thus always to tyrants”. Freedom girl holds no allegiance to any nation, attacks with the Truth and the shield of the Trivium defending by; Logic, Grammar, & Rhetoric, the three aspects of the Liberal Arts thought. Debt & Death is defeated.

There are other possibilities like the Girdle of Hippolyta by Provident metals.
Can you think of any other coin, round, or bar?

There is but one other possibility that could gave rise to this Amazon Bar.

Its a terrorist act on American soil while some say its not real or Im a mental case. Many know its real. This is an ignored detrimental to humanity domestic and foreign threat. Ask informed soldiers in the American military what their oath is and tell them about the day you asked me why. Nobody has I guess. You may get lucky and find one sold as a generic bar of silver since not a lot is known of it's mintage and distribution, and the fact that the Great River mint is not known to be on the cutting edge of minting reputation. While I find the Amazon Warrior represents the best of their products, their line of Adult themed silver rounds are a bit seedy but seen on Ebay for up to $100 USD per coin.

The original Trivium obverse of 2013 (2015 is the same) is imbued with a lot of symbolism and meaning as well. It has gone through two iterations with the magnificent 3rd version with the flaming sword. It would take a while to unpack all the details of that one.

While this Amazon warrior is beautiful in it's own right, Sic Semper Tyrranis/Freedom girl has long been one of my favorite silver rounds so I have two other identical rounds in Brilliant Uncirculated quality as well.

Most Silver Stackers will consider this as Generic classed bars, the few like me see it deserving a premium. Until someone comes up with hard data of mintage and distribution we may never know. I have seen only two other bars like this, one is owned by the person that previously owned this one and the other on IG.
So the only clue to their rarity is market sightings.

You may be interested to know that I put a bit of profits from another coin into the Doge, not a lot, but I'm trying to front run a likely tipping application on Twitter... thoughts? what to watch for? You seem to follow this as closely as anyone I know.

On the other hand, I have over 100 million $HIB because they have a crazy burn rate and ETH Whales are grabbing them by the billions... I'm prolly going to simply just DCA until I feel like i have too much or just quit around 200mn. 🙃

I thought Elon was kidding when he suggested using Dogecoin as a tipping coin on Twitter but I held on to 10K Dogecoins just in case he wasn't until he bought Twitter. Then I figured that he was serious after all. I'm glad I hung on to some.

It is very strange that maker has not put any identity on the bar.
The woman looks similar to Athena, because she holds the spear and shield in Greek mythology.
