Hola para todos los Hivers de esta hermosa comunidad, apasionados cómo yo de nuestros pequeños compañeros de vida, que tanto nos llenan de alegría y nos alejan de la tristeza, hoy me animo a compartir con ustedes la evolución de mi gata Yang, desde que era una recién nacida y tenía pocas horas de vida hasta la actualidad que se convirtió en madre.

Yang es una gata que vi nacer, vi crecer y vi desarrollarse con el paso de los meses, es hija de Coquita (mi primera gata), desde pequeña se ha caracterizado por ser muy activa, le gusta estar constantemente jugando con su hermano y cuando este no está de humor se divierte con cualquier objeto que consigue a su paso, desarrolló un peculiar gusto por el agua, le gusta ver cómo el agua Fluye sobre el cemento y corre dónde quiera que esté para colocarse a un costado y ver pasar el agua, es una gata blanca con manchas oscuras en la cara, que con el paso del tiempo se han ido oscureciendo más y más hasta cubrir buena parte de su pelaje en el rostro.

Yang is a cat that I saw born, I saw grow and I saw her develop over the months, she is the daughter of Coquita (my first cat), since she was a little girl she has been very active, she likes to be constantly playing with her brother and when he is not in the mood she has fun with any object she can find in her way, She developed a peculiar taste for water, she likes to see how the water flows on the cement and runs wherever she is to stand on the side and watch the water go by. She is a white cat with dark spots on her face, which with the passing of time have been getting darker and darker until they cover a good part of her fur on her face.

Es una gata muy querida en la familia, que cada día nos hace reír con sus ocurrencias en la casa, en las tardes mayormente ocupa su tiempo en cazar animales pequeños que puedan estar en el patio, escalando los árboles o cuando está muy cansada durmiendo con la brisa refrescante en cualquier lugar que le ofrezca sombra, a diferencia de su hermano Yin ella no ha crecido mucho, a pesar de ya contar con 1 año parece del mismo tamaño de cuando tenía 7 meses, eso no se ha convertido en ningún complejo para ella, puesto que es la que se encarga de espantar a los gatos foráneos que se cuelan en la casa, los persigue hasta que abandonan su hogar, sin importar el tamaño que pueda tener el otro gato.

She is a very beloved cat in the family, that every day makes us laugh with her witticisms in the house, in the afternoons she mostly occupies her time hunting small animals that may be in the yard, climbing trees or when she is very tired sleeping with the refreshing breeze in any place that offers shade, unlike her brother Yin she has not grown much, despite being 1 year old she looks the same size as when she was 7 months old, that has not become any complex for her, since she is the one who is in charge of chasing away the foreign cats that sneak into the house, she chases them until they leave her home, no matter how big the other cat may be.

Hace menos de 10 días se transformó en mamá por primera vez, cómo ella es pequeña no hizo una barriga suficiente como para estar completamente seguro que estaba embarazada, si teníamos nuestro presentimiento en la casa, pero no había seguridad, al momento de dar a luz se le notaba muy desesperada buscando un sitio donde tener a sus bebés, se le improvisó un lugar tranquilo, con franelas que ya no se usaban para ese momento, pero no se quedaba en ese sitio, buscaba las camas, para que no diera a luz en las camas se le encerró en dicho lugar, con espacios suficiente para parir, luego de 30 minutos de maullidos muy fuertes ya no se le escuchó más, teníamos el miedo que tuviera problemas y muriera en el parto juntos a sus hijos, esperamos alrededor de 2 horas para abrir la puerta y ver qué había pasado con ella y su parto.

Less than 10 days ago she became a mom for the first time, as she is small she did not have a big enough belly to be completely sure she was pregnant, if we had our feeling in the house, but there was no security, at the time of giving birth she was very desperate looking for a place to have her babies, she improvised a quiet place, with flannels that were no longer used for that moment, But she did not stay in that place, she was looking for the beds, so that she would not give birth in the beds, she was locked in that place, with enough space to give birth, after 30 minutes of very loud meowing she was not heard anymore, we were afraid that she would have problems and die in childbirth together with her children, we waited about 2 hours to open the door and see what had happened with her and her delivery.

Fui el elegido para abrir la puerta y avisar que había pasado con ella, con algo de miedo me acerque a la zona donde la habíamos dejado y para mi sorpresa estaba acostada amamantando a dos gatitos, eran muy pequeños, y se veían muy frágiles, la emoción recorrió mi cuerpo al ver que nada malo había pasado, pasaron los días, y con una buena alimentación sus hijos fueron creciendo y ganando peso, desgraciadamente para el día 5 uno de sus dos retoños falleció, no sabemos realmente el motivo una mañana despertamos y el gato ya no se movía, se encontraba sin dignos vitales, las dudas empezando a aparecer, y temimos por la vida del otro gato que le quedaba, incrementamos la supervisión para estar al tanto de cualquier inconveniente con el hijo de Yang.

I was the one chosen to open the door and let her know what had happened to her, with some fear I approached the area where we had left her and to my surprise she was lying down nursing two kittens, they were very small, and looked very fragile, the emotion ran through my body to see that nothing bad had happened, the days passed, and with a good feeding her children were growing and gaining weight, Unfortunately by day 5 one of her two offspring passed away, we don't really know why, one morning we woke up and the cat was no longer moving, he was without vital signs, doubts began to appear, and we feared for the life of the other cat that was left, we increased the supervision to be aware of any inconvenience with Yang's son.

Nada malo ha pasado hasta la actualidad, Yang sigue amamantando cada ciertas horas a su hijo, el gato ha ganado algo de peso y nosotros seguidos estando muy al tanto de cualquier novedad, en los próximos días esperamos que empiece a abrir sus ojos y seguir con su crecimiento de forma normal, el plan con el hijo de Yang es esperar que se vuelva un gato independiente, coma alimentos sólidos y no dependa de la mamá para nada, luego que esto suceda buscarle un nuevo hogar con una familia que esté dispuesta a darle mucho amor.

Nothing bad has happened so far, Yang continues to nurse her son every few hours, the cat has gained some weight and we continue to be very aware of any new developments, in the coming days we hope that he begins to open his eyes and continue to grow normally, the plan with Yang's son is to wait for him to become an independent cat, eat solid food and not depend on the mother for anything, after this happens to find him a new home with a family that is willing to give him lots of love.
