Hello travellers..

cover.JPG

In general, Aceh is a coastal province that has much beautiful scenery with beaches and sea, there are only a few inland areas that have views of mountains and rivers. The geographical location of Aceh which borders the Malacca Strait and the Indian Ocean makes Aceh more famous by the sea or related to it. Do you remember the biggest tsunami in 2004? Well, it happened in Aceh.

Talking about the sea and beaches in Aceh may already be known a lot, both here and on other social media, the beauty of Aceh has been spread. But is there no other destination on the coast beside the sea and the beach? Yup, there must be. Well, now I will tell you about my experience this weekend coming to this place. The name of this place is Jantho Panorama Park.

Jantho Panorama Park is located on Meusara Hill, Jantho City, Aceh Besar District. The journey from my house in Banda Aceh to this place is approximately one hour. If you want it to be shorter, it can be reached via Toll Road. Banda Aceh and Aceh Besar are two districts that are close to each other, so what is tourism in Aceh Besar is also tourism for Banda Aceh. To reach this place you can use the map on [pinemapple](//:# !pinmapple 5.283932 lat 95.602617 long Jantho Panorama Park d3scr)

From some of my research about this place, this place has not been officially opened and is still in the stage of improving the facilities and infrastructure. However, the news of this place has spread and many people have visited this place and shared it on social media.

Jantho Panorama Park (JPP) is a tourist spot initiated by the local government. In a podcast on YouTube, the Regent of Aceh Besar said that this tourist spot is one of the new tourist attractions in Aceh Besar. The beauty of Jantho Panorama Park lies in the unspoiled river flow and is a favourite place for bathing. On the side of the view that is obtained is the background of the Bukit Barisan mountains which are still green.

Although it has not been officially opened, facilities such as places of worship, clean bathrooms, cafes and also mini markets are available. There is also a boat photo spot that you can use for free. Almost everything is still free today. You are not charged an entrance fee except for a parking fee of 5.000 IDR. The rest of the facilities here have not been charged. I don't know how long it will take but I'm grateful that we can be here today.

Several ponds for fishing spots have also been prepared, but what I see are only two ponds and there are already fish, the rest are still in the dredging stage. From the story of the waiter at the cafe, many also do camping in this place, such as from offices and organizations. This place is used as an activity to strengthen each other's organizations and relationships.

As a new place, of course, there are many shortcomings, but seeing its potential, I am optimistic that this place will be invaded by tourists. Apart from being far from the hustle and bustle of the city, this place still has some potential such as water tourism. I'm sure the boat there was not deliberately placed for photos only. The boat will be lowered into the water definitely, whatever it's for.

Several tents on the banks of the river further add to the beauty of the river, all food and beverage dishes are available and accommodated by one cafe. The price is also not too expensive and still very affordable. I sat at the cafe with the Regent of Aceh Besar and asked his permission to write about this place and was allowed to.

Yes, however, I appreciate the presence of this place, even though there is still much that needs to be improved, but creating a new destination certainly requires courage and there must be benefits. The presence of several workers who helped manage this place has opened up new job opportunities. Moreover, this place presents a natural charm with rivers and hills, different from other tourist attractions. Amazing.

Btw, on the hill, there is also an Aceh traditional house which is also the main attraction, but I didn't go there, because I had to watch the children bathing in the river, I only got the picture from afar. But if it looks beautiful from below, I'm sure if I took a picture from up there, it would be prettier. You can imagine that.

Well, now time to back home, so while waiting for my family preparing to get ready to go home, I tried to explore some weeds and get a little macro here, hope you can enjoy it.

Wow the nature is beautiful and the scenery is stunning. You remind me of my childhood. My hometown looks like this and I was like the children in the post. Thanks for sharing @khaimi

I should have been like that too, but I didn't swim yesterday, because the water was shallow, maybe if it was a little deeper, I would swim as much as I can.

A few days ago, we were able to re=visit a place (river) that is popular in my province, I can say that visiting a river as compared to a beach offers different experiences. Have a nice day ahead.

Maybe later you can share in the next post. I'm sure you must have saved the photos in the river to be published at the right time. Right ?? I also want to try other sides like food reviews like in your post. Stay Blessed

You are correct, I just can't find the time to create the post for the river because of my busy schedule.
