INLEO UI Performance Goal: Web3 Features at Web2 Speed

avatar

You probably have seen the UI jumping a little over the last few days. It has an explanation. Today, we're diving deep into the exciting world of UI optimization and what it means for the future of our platform. Strap in, because things are about to get seriously awesome.

In this clip:

  • Instability expected because of structure migration
  • Loading the whole UI for minor actions was slowing down the UI
  • The features of Web3 at the speed of Web2 are the end goal for the UI
  • After the UI being all set up, the speed will 3x
  • Expect things going worse before rapidly going better

We're undergoing a major structural migration, which means a bit of instability is on the horizon. But fear not, this is all part of our journey toward a smoother, more efficient user experience.

Loading the entire UI for small tasks was bogging things down, but we're putting an end to that. Say hello to lightning-fast responsiveness; now each aspect of the UI loads independently, which makes it even faster.

Our ultimate goal is to harness the groundbreaking features of Web3 technology without sacrificing the speed and reliability of Web2. It's a bold vision, but we're determined to make it a reality.

Once the UI makeover is complete, get ready for a mind-blowing speed upgrade. We're talking about a 3x improvement: faster load times, smoother interactions, and an overall seamless user experience.

Now, we won't sugarcoat it; there may be some bumps along the way. As we navigate this transition, things might seem a bit rocky at first. But trust us when we say, it's all part of the process.

So, what can you expect? Well, let's just say things might get worse before they rapidly get better. But rest assured, we're working tirelessly behind the scenes. As always, your feedback is key. Use https://labs.inleo.io to explore the new features and let us know how your user experience is going.

You are surely going towards that goal! For example now the voting notification appears and leaves swiftly and neat. Dashboard works in a quick click, like if you are offline almost!) (BTW #feedback : I still see 16% APR for my Tier 3 delegation with @leo.voter , not sure why)

It is easy to get distracted by the issues which are prevalent whenever we are witnessing the creation something new and substantial. We have to understand that, though we have been at this for years, we are still early adopters, navigating uncharted water, and are doing so in decentralized territory which has its challenges.

Your booster club will notice the constant innovation, rapid reaction to issues, open communication and progress. You and Leo are gathering no moss so just keep rolling!

Love the leverage of more cutting edge technology like AI and really looking forward to see where we are in the next few months!

without sacrificing the speed and reliability of Web2

In web 2.o it is not the speed and reliability that matters, it is the followerbase, celebrity-hood that matters, Can we bring that to web 3.0, if yes, then it will be smooth transtition and web 3.0 will also gain prominence.
