Book Review: Pride and Prejudice By Jane Austen

A few weeks ago, I got a new phone and while trying to figure it out, I came across some books.

Before this, I had been reading on Wattpad but, I was getting tired of the repeated stories, and I was looking forward to reading a fictional book that was somewhat new to me.

I had heard of this book a lot of times and had even come across its movie; even though I didn't watch it, so, it wasn't exactly foreign to me, but since I hadn't read it, I was a bit interested.

FIRST LOOK

The cover of this book was simplistic which wasn't a bad thing, I don't know if this is the original cover but, I liked how simple it was and I loved the color.

The picture of the woman also made me a bit curious because the name of the book didn't give me much to me and I wondered if it was a book about her; I was right.

Overall, my first look at this book was a good one which is crazy because it's been a while since I liked a book cover.

PREMISE

Pride and Prejudice surrounds a woman called “Elizabeth Bennet” and her disputes surrounding finding a compatible husband.

In the book, she is one of the five daughters of her mother, and her mother's goal is to marry her daughters off but, it isn't until an eligible young man rents a house close to theirs that drama unfolds.

The young man comes with a friend, called “Mr. Darcy” which always annoys Elizabeth, and for most people, this means that they should get married.

This book dives into their romance, flirting, rivalry, and their spark.

MY THOUGHTS

I have no words for this book, but since this is a review, well, I have to say something about it.

This is officially the best fictional book that I have read in my years of reading; I'll probably watch the movie because of how good it was.

One thing that made me love this book was the character “Elizabeth”, she was young, witty, and in most cases, she reminded me of myself which is a rare thing.

Also, I haven't seen a book that got me in so deep that I got angry, happy, and even danced around due to my excitement, it was such a good book with amazing writing.

The moment I started this book, I didn't stop until I finished which shows how much I loved it.

I could say a lot of things but ill stop here so I don't write a million words praising this book and the amazing author.

RATINGS

10 out of 10, yes, it finally happened, maybe it's because its the first good book I've read in months or maybe there is something wrong with me but, I stand by my rating because this book deserves it, that is all I have to say.

IN CONCLUSIONS

Read this book if you love romance as much as I do, read this book if you love hate to love relationships, in fact, just read it.

Now, you might not see the hype that I got which is understandable but, it is still a good book, a great one even,and worth reading.
