In the quest to attain financial stability and freedom, there are so many means of earning, and one very important means to earn is through passive income.

My friend and I were discussing how we could increase our streams of income this 2022 and she mentioned how she had plans to earn mostly passively this year which got me thinking and then researching different means of earning passively.

Now while earning passively might seem like easy money, I guarantee you that it is not and it takes a whole of planning and failing to properly execute most times.

NOW IF YOU MAY ASK WHAT IS PASSIVE INCOME?

Passive incomes are money you can earn without too much stress and continuous effort, these are incomes that require the tiniest effort most times to earn.

Sometimes passive income would require you using your 9-5 to fuel a side hustle, then a side hustle to build investments, and then you can easily earn passively while having other streams of income.

SOME MEANS OF EARNING PASSIVE INCOME

Now to successfully earn passively, you would need to know the means that you can use to earn this way and some means are;

1. By writing an e-book on a certain skill you have.
2. Renting a property.
3. Investing in stock.
4. Investing in Agriculture.
5. Lending of money.

SOME WAYS TO EARN PASSIVELY ON HIVE

While writing and making video content on hive is a good means of earning, there are also some other ways you can earn passively even on hive and they are;

1. Staking: you can earn by staking certain tokens like POB, Cub, etc. because by staking these tokens, you get to qualify for more airdrops.
2. Delegating HP to certain accounts: certain accounts when delegated HP give some returns back to you so it is up to you to make research on which accounts.
3. Buying certain tokens: Buying certain tokens/cryptocurrencies is a good way to earn passively even though it can be volatile.
4. Using hashtags: By using certain hashtags on hive, you qualify to get airdrops and this could be a simple way to earn passively.
5. Renting of splinterland cards: If you have splinterland cards that you are not using, you can easily rent them on peakmonster to other players and be paid.

IN CONCLUSION

While there are many other means of earning passively these are the ones that I have focused on but regardless I will advise you to do your own research as not everything would work for everyone.

Also, it is essential to know that while trying to find other streams of income, there might be a lot of misses before you hit so please exercise patience.
