HOW FAR I'VE GROWN

Looking back to how far I've grown is something am always thankful to God for.

After I graduated from the University, I was posted for my NYSC to serve my father's Land. I was posted to old Federal secretariat Civil Defense, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) Block E Area 1 Garki Abuja Nigeria for my primary Assignment.

With the mindset that after my service, I will be retained. For this reason I was consistent and hardworking. Even after my POP I was still going to the office hopeful that one day I will be employed.

I continued going to the office until last year when I decided to sit back to think if am progressing or am just on one spot and I was able to point out the fact that there was no progress at all.

Despite the fact that I was getting positive response from my boss.
One fateful day, my boss called me to his office to inform me that he has been transferred from old Federal secretariat to Head Of Service still within Abuja.

Immediately my mood changed cause I know it will be difficult for me to see him unlike when we were still in the same office,him seeing me everyday will serve as a reminder that am still here because am in need of job.

But since he was transferred, he might not have me at heart unlike before. After he was transferred, I was still consistent in going to the office praying and hoping that I will still be retained.

At times, I will call, send messages to my boss but he would not reply I became sad after all the time I've wasted in serving him. But one thing my Holy book which is the Bible thought me is that everything works together for good.

After some months, I sat down to think of the next step to take so I decided to go learn a skill which I concluded to learn makeup and gele( tying of headgear)

Am grateful to God cause am doing perfectly well with the skill I learnt and I believe it will take me to greater place.
