THE BEST WEDDING I'VE ATTENDED SO FAR

Weekend Experience reminds me of a wedding I attended months ago inside town at Bolingo Hotel at Abuja which is the Federal Capital Territory of Nigeria.

I was really glad I didn't miss the wedding for anything and I love the order of program for the wedding because it was a simple and classic wedding. It was just a one day celebration. We got to the venue around 10am and as usual African time ( means not starting a program at the exact time fixed) so we waited for an hour before the program commenced.

The program started at exactly 11am. We were all on our feet when they sang recessional hymn for the father of the bride to bring her in. After that, the pastor mounted the pulpit to preach for 20 minutes after which they exchanged vows then the ministers of God present blessed their marriage.

After that, the couples danced for some time before they rounded up the blessing of the wedding before they moved to order of photograph.

30 minutes interval, the master of ceremony (MC) usher the couples in. Because both the white wedding and reception took place in the same hall. We all danced and usher them to their seat.

While the program for reception was going on, they started to share small chops first because there was juice and wine on the table cause is a round table of five.

After which they shared food mixture of fried rice and jollof rice with chicken and drink which I really enjoyed very well.

I hope you enjoyed my weekend experience story interesting.
