The Showdown (Zapfic)
Zapfic.club, released a Zapfic Prompt, for a 240 character story, using the word 'miss' as the inspiration for it.

Try to tell a complete story if you can!
The story should only be 240 characters long (including spaces) - can be shorter, but not longer!
A Mulu was eying Bax up slowly. "You going to shoot me? Over a drink?" Bax asked. "Think about it."
It's finger twitched, then jerked reaching for his pistol.
He drew. Fired. But missed. Bax was calm and didn't flinch. His shot was true.
This was a bit of fun, and I think I managed to create a bit of tension and suspense in the scene. I don't know if it comes across as that, but to me it did.
