Inspiration -
After much effort comes out a sketch that satisfies your artistic hunger. It bridges your gaps and connects you to another world, providing an insight of it visible to the bare eyes. My personal liking with this sketch is the eyes, frankly speaking. The eyes seem so real. Every time I observe a sketch, the eyes seem to capture me more than anything.

But, you know, it is not that hard to sketch it. It is quite easier than the bags formed in the skin. It is so much easier, but at the same time, it is so beautiful. I am not complimenting myself, nor my art, I am talking about realistic sketches. The impact of realistic sketches is out of this world. I feel I have overdone the deep shades. How did it come out?

Art Type -
Charcoal Art

Materials Used -
• Charcoal
• Sketchbook
• Tissue Paper (or Gloves)

Tips -
• Outline your figure and sketch it all out with a charcoal pencil forming the draft sample
• Start with the easier shapes, then soft shades with deep shades
• As we know that opposite looks goo together when put side to side, such is black-white
• Black complements white, or gray in many cases, such as observed in charcoal arts
• The use of different forms of hatching is very crucial, use them according to what you want to demonstrate shadow
• Sometimes absence of shadow highlights the image even more, like the long shirt
• Layers, while forming on a cloth show different types of shadow formation and depths
• Bags formed on the skin due to old age, has different types of shadow formation and structure which differ from that of the layout cuts
• Shadow also depicts where light doesn't pass through
• While working with charcoal, you will be able to appreciate the beauty of black and white
• The different forms of black and white is much appreciated when the shades of black are all visible in one frame
• The most difficult part is to draw the ears for me and skin bags

Impressive work. Really the eyes were the last thing I would have noticed. I look at the sketch as a whole. But, after reading the artist I understand his art better and appreciate even more his dedication to achieve his personal satisfaction while delighting the viewer. Greetings and Merry Christmas...
