Airport Railway Station- Original Sketch Art
Inspiration -
How many times have we sat idle on a station, on a platform, on a stop? It is a commonplace for me to visit as I travel back and forth to my hometown often. Some places leave behind their essence and according to me each of the places deserve what they give in return. Such importance holds the Airport railway station for me and for many. In recognition of the value it creates in many of our lives, I sketched this. I have sketched it back in 2018 but even now, my pathway hasn't changed. I have seen it being crowded, I have seen it being isolated. I have seen people search for inspiration, I have seen people lost. I have seen single people, I have seen mingles, I have seen families and I have seen friends. I have seen people struggle for food and job. The railway station takes a mass of people and paves their path to their destination. Such is the likes of the airport railway station.

Tips -
• Know to portray a 2D image or 3D image
• Before sketching envision your outline, subject, and fillers
• Once you visualize the image which you want to imitate it is easier to start
• Imitation has its own limitations
• Plan ahead how you will project your edges and react to changes in the real atmosphere
• Edges determine your value of the art, it plays a major role in sketching
• Sometimes mixing objects with one another but keeping the outline straight emphasizes the importance of both the objects
• Each shadow associates a different meaning to it; some present shadow, some present light reflection, some present color.
• The use of different forms of hatching is very crucial, use them according to what you want to demonstrate
• Sometimes absence of shadow highlights the image even more
• Know what to emphasize on while imitating, as you might not want to imitate everything which is present on a live atmosphere
