• Instant paintings are done with more precision
• Visualize the use of color if wanting to replicate or change
• Have a good understanding of color and shades
• Practice of color combination is quite a necessity in portraying a mood
• Practice pointing strikes
• Study where to shade
• Try replicating images to effectively learn proper shading
• Practice creating depth (it is different from shading)
• Tone is also very important, as each tone has different meeaning
• Having a perspective of light is important for such paintings where the shadow of each subject is not important
• Variety of strokes represents different folds and layers, the use of layered strokes are minimal in this painting
