There has been a trending video lately of ladies singing in a church during a night vigil. In the exact words of the song:

Carry me dey go, Jesus carry me dey go my husband house

And ever since the video has been trending with several people making mockery of the ladies. Maybe because of the words/ lyrics of the song.

The thing is I see absolutely nothing with what the ladies did or sang. I mean these are ladies that went to church to seek the help of their creator. To pray for a husband. Just the way we all pray for money, new job, admission, good health.

Shebi na wetin worry person he go church go pray for.

Or is it a crime now to go to church?.

Is it a crime now to pray or sing a song that asks God to help you?.

Is it a crime now to talk to your maker in a manner that suits you?.

Or is there a kind of prayer God accepts?

Yahoo boys go to church these days to pray for a better client. Even the small girl's, big God aunties. Our so-called politicians do the same to win elections and still subject us to the same hardship.

But these are ladies that are tired of their present condition and are seeking for spiritual intervention. They weren't in the club, in a strip club, doing hook ups, or snatching people's husbands.

As usual, Nigerians know how to make the most of everything. We crucify the good and applaud the bad.

We applauded a celebrity that snatched a friend's husband a few weeks ago when the story trended. Now we are making jest of ladies seeking to find their own man in a religious way.

Let's stop the hypocrisy.

This whole trend is a very hilarious one because why not?.

Omor, anything they can do to help theirselves should be done.

😂 you're right it's kinda funny.
But before someone walks into a night vigil to sing such kinda song he/she really needs God's intervention in their life.
