The four kids grumbled as they served their punishment given to them by the school principal. They have been mischievous lately especially with Miles. He was the head of the gang. He had pranked almost anyone that had gotten in his way. In fact he was a big bully in school, the kind that his peers feared.

Miles was a boy in his early teenage years, the only son of his parents who were married for years before they were able to conceive and bear a child with Miles being their first and only son. He was also so handsome that girls his age drooled over him. He had all the toys a kid his age should. Apart from all that he was an arrogant and stubborn boy. This was due to the fact that his parents over pampered him while he was a kid.
And now he has grown with the character and it was too late to stop him.

One time he had put too much pepper on his uncle's food for reporting him to his parents after he scaled the fence to go for a night party even though his parents had forbidden him from going. The other time he had drawn a caricature picture of his female classmate and pasted it over and all around the school just to get back at her for standing up to him when he tried bullying her.

Now he was serving the punishment of mopping the school floors every morning for the next one month for dropping a banana peel on the way intentionally and making the principal fall from stepping on it.The principal had called for his parents after he had drawn the caricature pictures and his parents in return had slashed his allowance, this got Miles angry and he planned with his gang to deal with the principal.

They had bought bananas from the school canteen and were munching on it when they saw the principal coming. Immediately miles signalled to his gang and carefully placed the peel where the principal would step on it. And just as they had planned, the principal had unknowingly stepped on the banana peel and fallen to the ground dislocating his shoulders. Now the principal walks about with bandages hanging from his neck. It was the intervention from Miles' class teacher that stopped the principal from expelling Miles and had Instead gave him the punishment of mopping the school for a month.

Miles on the other hand felt bad for his actions and had pleaded and promised to turn a new leaf.

Will he really turn a new leaf?
