The First Wander, Which is Really Hard For Me | AWAY FROM HOME

Hello Everyone

Being away from home is the hardest thing for everyone because it leaves the family and comfort zone that we have created over the years. I believe and believe that we all must be very hard to leave our homes to wander because we will accept new challenges that exist overseas, be it financial challenges, new environments and try to create new comfort zones in the overseas environment that we want to go to. For adults, it is commonplace in terms of wandering, but for teenagers, it is a very difficult moment because they will be exposed to new experiences and environments that they did not expect. like my previous experience, I first left my house when I graduated from high school and wanted to continue my education at the undergraduate level in the provincial capital where I was. That moment was a very heavy moment for me because many new things and I did not expect, came in my life. So along with this edition I want to write about (The First Wander, Which is Really Hard For Me) I hope that my writing in this edition will be interesting for all readers and friends.

A Lot of New Experiences and Challenges When I Wander

The first moment I migrated was when I finished high school in 2014. At that time, I happened to want to continue my education at the undergraduate level. In the village I live in, there are indeed several well-known campuses and at first I thought about continuing my studies at the campus in my hometown. but after discussing with my family, and considering the decision carefully, in the end the best decision was that I had to go abroad to seek knowledge on the campus of my provincial capital. the distance between my house and the provincial capital is about 6 hours by road. At first I was very afraid because I had never migrated even though but because of my strong determination and persistence in seeking knowledge, then I did not stop my intention to go abroad and did not think long. A few months later I immediately migrated to the capital with the intent and purpose of seeking knowledge and earned my bachelor's degree. When I arrived in the capital, I immediately went to campus and enrolled as an undergraduate student.

As time went on, I got a lot of really great impressions that I didn't get in my hometown. starting from me being a undergraduate student, we studied together and chatted with new friends in the classroom, felt how exciting it was to do practical work directly in the laboratory to be able to talk and exchange ideas with a professor from Japan. This is a very extraordinary moment that I didn't get when I was in my hometown and I only got it in my overseas as an undergraduate student.

Another thing I got when I was overseas, I had to really save on expenses and finances because I only got shipments from my parents. then I really have to be able to manage my finances and expenses. and use the remittances for my living expenses as well as possible so that I can survive in my overseas life in the capital city area. because remember, the money my parents sent me was not much and only enough for me to survive within a month. because I get monthly payments from my parents, so I have to be really careful in using the money for my daily expenses. Once upon a time, my financial condition overseas was so reduced that I had to unpack my cans of coins and use the money for my needs. it happened because I was too careless in using money. luckily at the time, I had spare change that I saved and would use if I really needed to. so in the future this moment will be a lesson for me to be wiser and not careless in using the money I have.

Besides that, when I was overseas in the capital I found many new friends who could change my thinking to be more mature and wise in thinking. I have learned a lot of new things from overseas friendships. ranging from critical thinking, acting wisely, very loyal friends, to friends who are willing to eat their own friends like the proverb (oranges eat oranges). Previously, I did not believe in this proverb in my hometown because my friends are loyal friends and can help when we need it. but in overseas, only then did I understand the proverb and the proverb, it was proven and I also experienced it personally. it's not like all the friends I've met are like that, but it's an example of the challenges I got when I was overseas.

At the end of my wandering in the capital. I got my bachelor's degree for five years after going through all kinds of hurdles and obstacles. there are so many things that taught me abroad. not just studying and pursuing a bachelor's degree. but I got new knowledge and other experiences that I would not get if I went to college in my hometown.

In conclusion, never be afraid to leave the comfort zone that we have created. traveling abroad and away from home until we will create a new comfort zone and learn something valuable in life, namely an experience. because experience will not come alone but from an effort and failure until success will come at the right time. as the saying goes

experience is the best teacher in life

so don't be afraid to leave your comfort zone, and keep looking for an experience until that experience will bring success in the future.

Maybe that's enough of my writing in this edition. I hope my writing this time interesting for All readers. I apologize if there are words that are not understood. great respect from me as a author

Yeah... when we branch off from home we will have the opportunity to find friends who will be instrumental in helping us lead the kind of life we are after. And the decisions we make will greatly influence that.
Thank you for sharing this with us.
