My January 1st

It's a custom in my place to keep saying this greeting till February or March. Lol🤣

Yesterday (1st of January) was very okay for me because I ate all manners of food💯.

First of all, I woke up around 10:00am because I stayed awake all through the New Year's Eve...it was the church program that I've been ranting about since last year. We closed by 5:00am and I got home by 6:00am. I quickly rushed in to bed so as to catch some sleep and wake up on time in order not to asleep while food is going on during the day.

Yeah, I woke and I met pounded yam with pepper Soup. That's always the custom in our house, we first of all prepare pounded yam & soup in the morning as a form of appetizer before the main food.

While eating with my six siblings, they were expecting me to collect my meat after the meal (that's how we used to eat while we were together) but I surprised them, I was eating the everything together Lol🤣.

There was electricity, so we switched into music and it was so loud that the house was shaking...we needed that because it happens once in a while.

Meanwhile, due to the sleepless night, I had running nose, so I went for a pill which is 90% sleeping pill, I took it and started feeling dizzy within some minutes.

While I came out to enter my room, I saw someone that brought a fresh palm wine to supply my dad, the man knows me so he offered that I should come and take a sip...he was even calling me a Pastor and "pastors don't take palm wine"...I don't know where it's written in the Bible. Lol.

I took a glass and filled it, the 'pami' was so sweet. I didn't finished the cup though, i was scared of getting drunk lol🤣, so I gave it to my sister to finish.

I entered inside and zoomed off to dreamland.
I woke up around 4:00pm and moved straight to kitchen. See eeh! *No matter what you do, make sure you have access to kitchen.
I met all the pots filled to the brim, so I did justice of serving and eating at the spot. I mean, once my plate finishes, I serves another one. That's how I ate till I became pinned to the seat🤭.

After that, I went to download the alchemy of Souls episode 7 (Season 2). I was watching till one brother from church came looking for me. I had to quickly take my bath, dressed up and we went outsiiiiiiiide!

We went about visiting some church families around and we did that till 9pm. I got home to tired, not hungry but I clinged to the kitchen again, I made sure I filled the empty spaces on my stomach.

There was still light, so I went inside my room to continue my movie while the phone was on charge...that's a bad habit, right?🤔 After the movie, I switched on to chat and I had a good conversation with one fine girl on this blockchain. I slept around 1:00am.
So bad, I didn't engage here yesterday, that's to say I've ruined one day already from my set goals.
