Network Of Friends

After reading the content of this prompt, I took a deep sigh 🗣️💨
I looked around to the friends around me, and I was handicapped by what I saw. What a life!

"If you're in a tight situation that demands N100,000 to be freed and all of your friends cannot push one button to get you out instantly, that means you and your friends are poor."

We see statements like this oftentimes and we laugh over them. But the truth remains that the statement above is correct whether the source of your money and that of your friend is genuine or illegal.

The kind of network of friends we belong to determines how we live, do things, react to things, and pave for survival. When you have whales, I mean the likes of you, you, and you as good friends, there's no way you'll not be in the league, even though it requires you to start up like a crayfish first.

My network of friends

Recently, I've been poor at keeping physical friends. The friends I have now are friends I met in school, friends from service days, and church people (both home and abroad). But I haven't been so connected with them because of a lot of things.

The friends from school are all into internet fraud with intimidating wealth, which initiated a little distance between me and them, and it's very natural. Although we still talk very well but the connection is no longer there because the only thing they can offer is "come and join us" whenever you ask them for help.

I and my friends from service days are still very much connected, but they're scattered all over the country. Although not on a regular basis but we still look out for each other, especially when it comes help.

Church friends? We're sill very much connected, but church people behave differently 😏

So, rating my friends networking with regards to physical friends, I'm my own squared. I know it's not good, but I can't help it. I'll try to adjust.

Virtual and faraway friends

This is the sector I've been living with for some years now.
I began my networking journey when I was in school by meeting friends with like minds—Ponzi People.
Way back, I was so good at investment related stuff and I had a lot of people under me.
Due to our everyday conversations, I and these people became very close friends, to the extent that I became their Bank and Crypto saving account. Yes, till today, a large portion of Benita's crypto is still in my possession. I pray she marries and forgets it.

These are the people who are just a call away from any request especially when I'm in a hot seat.

I got to this Hive blockchain through the people I met online, and I'm forever grateful to God for linking me with such people.

With my relationship with these friends on blockchain, I'm very confident that they have my back anytime anyday. Or @fashtioluwa, don't you have my back? Lol🤧

There was a day I was to stream a live match, and there was no data subscription on my phone. I tried recharging from the bank but all my 6 banks refused. I pleaded for my brother to help out, he did, and it didn't work too.

Miraculously, @cheeamaka appeared online. I begged her to help me recharge a certain amount, she tried and it worked (kudos to her oldie bank). I'm sure if it were to be N100,000 I requested from her that day, she would have delivered, or isn't it🧐?

Closeby friends: Bad network

Faraway friends: Very good network

Thanks for reading.

That's your true character right there. Lol.
I promise you, she won't forget it.

It's nice that you have friends that have your back when it comes down to it. A true asset indeed.
