Newbies Initiative Task: Understanding Security On Hive

This question reminds me of when I lost a whole $4 due to carelessness in one of my blogging platforms. I procrastinated saving my wallet keys, I just did a screenshot and postponed saving the JPEG on google drive and I didn't know when I mistakenly deleted the screenshot. Ever since then, I don't joke with anything KEYS, I save it Instantly as I get it to avoid stories that touch.
My best ways of saving keys are:

• Save on Google drive: I don't mean saving on anyhow address but a well standard google address that is well backed up. How do I mean? An account that can be easily recoverd Incase of anything happens.

• Write/print on a paper: This is also useful if you can write or print them on paper, duplicate them, and store them with your school certificates.

• Use a Trustee: A trustee is another user that you trust very well. You can link your keys to the account for safe keeping, and if by any chance, something bad happens, you can easily get your keys back via some soft procedure. Hello! It's not compulsory to use an individual's account as a trustee; you could use 3speak, ecency, OCD and the rest.

• Give to a trusted person/Next Of kin:
  We all have family members or friends we can trust, we can as well send the word or PDF to them, to help us keep. This is preferably when the person is an "olodo"(dullard) in technology or he/she knows tech stuffs but not interesting in crypto stuffs.

How do you check your recovery account and what process is needed to recover an account?
Checking the recovery account is as easy as reading ABCD.
I'll be using the peakd frontend, go to your account and click the three dots as shown below;

It'll reveal a sub menu options like this;

Click on "Keys & permission" to unveil the recovery account link/spot, which is here;

Then tap on RECOVERY ACCOUNT to see whom you've selected.

Mine has been with OCD and if I want to change it to any other account, it's very easy too.
It's just a matter of clicking the CHANGE RECOVERY ACCOUNT or CHANGE WITH HIVESIGNER.
The first one would require to input the name of the account you want to use as recovery Account and your private key as seen on the screenshot below;

While the second one will demand the name of the new account you're adding as recovery Account, then proceed as seen on the screenshot below;


Whom did you choose as your account trustee, and why?
I'm very okay with my current RECOVERY ACCOUNT which is OCD. If by any means, my account is mistakingly shaken, I don't need to worry too much because my keys are well saved offline and online. But anyways, OCD are known for their geniune work and it'll be hard for them to bridge my keys, unless maybe it's world's end time🤭

List the various types of keys and state their use cases.

• ACTIVE KEY: I fell in love with this key because I've used it more often than others. This key allows smooth transaction especially when it's time to get your money out of the wallet to settle some personal bills. This key is also used to power up & power down
  POSTING KEY: I've been making use of this key without knowing untill I learnt about its usefulness. This key give us access to perform regular task here such as rebloging, commenting, upvoting, down vote and following of accounts.

• MEMO KEY: This is seldomly used by most of us, it's used to send or view private messages. I haven't sent message to anyone though, maybe I should try it out today. Where are you crush? Check your inbox, I just sent a DM🥰

• MASTER KEY: The master key is the password to all the keys, you'll need it to recover any lost password.

• OWNER KEY: This is the boss of all of them. No matter what you do, please don't give your fiance this key, it'll just be like you're giving him/her your bank account with access code😢. This can be used to reset all other keys, recover an account and also be used to creat the master key. If you looses this, you've lost all!
