Sêx education at home
Thanks to civilization and the advancements we have made with it, there are now many more beneficial lifestyles available to us compared to how life was in the 1990s and early 2000s, when most of us were born. My parents had no interest in giving their children sêx education and this was very common in most families in those days. They preferred that we learned about it outside the home by ourselves, and maybe even through practical experience too. I won't lie, this has affected me a lot, to the extent that whenever I see people who talk about s3x freely, loudly, and in public, it keeps surprising me. This is why I will do everything within my capacity to marry a wife who is broad-minded and isn't shy about talking about sèx, so that together we can properly educate our children on it.

When is the right time to educate children on s3x?
Although it still feels like a big task for me, I think the right time to get them to know about sèx is when they're tender. They should know the things to avoid and how to raise an alarm if they find themselves in an unwanted place. The girl child should know what it means not to sit on the lap of a guy that's not their dad. They should know why they shouldn't allow a guy or a boy to touch them in their sensitive parts, and they should also know when to raise an alarm when someone is forcing their way against the rules their parents have set to protect their body. The boy child, as early as possible, should be educated on how to raise an alarm when an adult female tries to touch him in sensitive parts.
As I said, the whole idea of sitting my children down and illustrating all this to them sounds awkward to me. I know it's the right thing to do as a parent, but the fact that such a thing isn't common in my part of the world makes it feel extraordinary. This is why, although I'll try my best, the major work will be on my wife to do.
I wish it were possible for my children to act the way I acted when I was young through their own instinct. When I was younger, I didn't get sêx education, and I wasn't exposed to sêx the way other children in my area were. I feared it, and I was shy about getting my way around having early sêx and with that, I saw myself abstaining and very far away from it.
I'll make sure to create that bond with my children where I get to know their sêx life and... Ooops, it sounds awkward, but that is what I will really try my best on.
Thanks for reading.
