A Leap into Splinterlands Card Rentals, How Profitable can it be?

Hi friends on Hive. You would have missed my contents over the last few days. My new work schedule is really time and strength draining. Working on Hive is really sweet an experience and I hope I could have all it take to do a full time here someday.

No excuses for Failure

Challenges are common to man and humankind. Many times we don't choose them, but we can choose how to deal with them. I have no excuses for failure. If it means burning the night to learn, I will just to gather sufficient knowledge to move ahead.

My decision to get things serious here on Hive and on the Splinterlands game was and is still real. With sufficient or paucity of time, we will still push hard to learn. Good that we earn while learning too.

My new Adventure in Splinterlands

having played the splinterlands game for some weeks and making some significant progress in the game play, I thought it wise to explore more. There is still much to learn though!

I was so fortunate to have received two gold cards when I opened my Riftwatchers packs - NIGHT GHOUL and WHELP HERDER. The two were my best pick and as at today, are valued far above the $5 I invested in Riftwatchers. Both cards are beautifully endowed with great stats and rated for level 3 battles

I felt sad that though I have the cards, they do not appear in my deck for use in game play. perhaps there's knowledge lacking somewhere and a pro could please tell me why.

I decided to start renting the cards so I can earn tiny DEC rewards. I have no plans of selling them now or any time soon. This is my first time of trying card rentals on splinterlands.

The game suggested 0.16 DEC as daily rental reward for NIGHT GHOUL and 0.13 DEC as daily reward for WHELP HERDER. That was fine at least something is adding up to my wallet. In fact if I had started the rentals weeks back, I would have earned enough DEC to buy a Tower Defense pack.

Today, when I logged in to check my currency activity in the splinterlands game, I discovered that my rental payment for the two cards rented out. Though the reward is fluctuating but earning about 0.28 DEC daily sounds like a great start in my new found business on Splinterlands game. So far, over 0.5 DEC has been earned.

I will be patient to see these earnings grow and even buy more packs and rent out the cards.

I do not even know what I am doing. Could this be a profitable step? I will be able to tell after a few days and weeks.

With this new found business, I may be playing splinterlands as a full time job. Let me see how the profitability wheel rolls out.
