MCGI MASS THANKSGIVING SERVICE FOR 23/03/2024

Thank God for the mid-quarter of the year thanksgiving anr is always a privilege to be part of the MCGI family, along with the impactful teaching and moral lessons that come from them, hence on note I will go to explain as much I have learned in the thanksgiving lessons.

According to the book of James 4:17, talked all about working based on using our initiative to take responsibility for doing what is right in the sight of God, and in the other way around we should be accountable for all we are doing in all ramifications of our lives, which implies that as believers we ought to manage what we do with caution, which tally with our faith in Christ Jesus.

So according to the book of Proverbs 3:27, it teaches us how to be generous, kind, and do what we are expected to do, which contributes to the greater development of others through our compassionate approach to one another and as much as that in Jeremiah 1:12 has to let us understand that God has plans for every human over his faithfulness in keeping to his promises to us, which signifies that he is always ready day after day to take care of our needs.

So also, in respect to the book of Luke 8:10–11, he talked about the receptive mind, which he went on to teach us that it is mandatory for every believer to have a receptive mind that accepts the word of God that differentiates us from the unbelievers, hence this approach is what actually makes us stronger and more spiritual in our faith in God.

So let us not fail to acknowledge the fact that Jesus reveals in the book of Mark 4:11, where we are taught about the spiritual truth that we ought to be with him, trust how, and believe in the process, which improves our faith while we earn more wisdom with God through our spiritual engagement with God.

So therefore, brethren, let us adhere to 1 John 3:18, where we are told the need for genuine love among ourselves, which has to manifest in our approach, actions, and what we do at large. On the other hand, it encourages all believers to show love that demonstrates unity among ourselves, which is always accompanied by sincerity in demonstrating our faith. So let's endeavor not to value the impact of Christ on us as we keep to our faith, rest assured, and with wisdom and knowledge of God, which guilds, protects, and empowers us spiritually.

So as we keep to trust in God, let us remember what the book of Philippians 2:13 said patterning to being submissive to God's authority, which is recognized as the most outstanding authority that supersedes others, hence, by doing that our lives are shaped in accordance with the doctrine of Christ, which we are main to practice and dwell with at all times, as also in John 13:35 teaches us about genuine love among we believers, which ought to be in accordance with our faith.

MORAL LESSONS

● Mark 4:3–11, Mark 4:2, Luke 8:9–11 all teach us about having the mind that accommodates the word of God, which every one ought to have in order to be in good relationship with God.

● Hebrew 12:2 encourages us to be with God and remain focused and steadfast in our faith in God, who is the author and finisher of our faith that we rely on.

● John 14:20-24 We are encouraged to live in accordance with our faith in God and to dwell in his doctrine always.

● Matthew 19:11 teaches us that we ought to reach out to more people with the word of God, especially those who lack the word of God.

● Romans 14:17 enlightened us to be after the spiritual thing over the earthly thing, which we are mainly after peace, righteousness, and so on.
