MCGI THANKSGIVING SERVICE-02/09/2023

20230714_092323.jpg

It was a wonderful Thanksgiving service with a lot of moral gained from the teaching that encouraged us not to pay evil with evil, hence with that being said let's look into the following scriptural verses used for the teaching.

With reference to Hebrew 12:4 inform us the need to be in peace with one another, as we all are expected to be holy always, hence on this regards entail us that we believers ought to be holy and relate with everyone with a peace of mind while we obtain ourselves from paying evil with evil deed.

According to 1 Peter 3:9-10 let us know that we are God's people hence we are not main to insult any one of pay back with evil response, hence the verse of the scripture entails that we ought to pay with blessings and not course, hence this define the mindset and who we are and what we are built for in Christ Jesus.

Also in Colossians emphasis on our conversation with people with mingle with, hence this verse of the scripture let us know that ought to interact with one another with a positive replies that glorifies the name of the Lord as facing bad people with their bad omeh is unavoidable from the unbelievers, in response to the teaching, also Roman 3:13-14 let us know that the tongue is dangerous because it can cause harm all depending on how it is being used, hence in that respect we are main to avoid cursing with our mouth

We are mainly to be calm and considerate in everything we do in life as Titus 3:2 entails us to go for peace making while we remain considerate in some certain issues and challenges we face, hence with h that we keep our relationship with others tight.

Hence instead of paying with evil we have to have to encourage the act of peacemaking as we all abide to our faith in God, hence by doing so the book of 2 Timothy 4:8 entails us there's always a reward for those that abide to the word of God, also with a reference to 1 Corinthians 9:25 speaks in proverb that is interpreted that as a core believer we are expected to pursuit for the eternal rewards by doing and abiding to the doctrine in the scripture which is the written words.

Therefore brethren we are meant to remain acquitted with every of our words God, because Matthew 12:37 let us know the consequences over all the bad words we used, hence this call for the attention to manage what we say to people judiciously because there is always payback of every word used against one another.

SUMMARY

20230714_092323.jpg

In respect to the teaching that we don't have to pay bad with evil doings, hence all the emphasis is basically on the approach we ought to use when we are interested with one another, hence we are mainly to do away with negative thought while we strive to remain in faith.

Therefore the moral lesson behind these teachings is that we ought to avoid negative saying and approach our brother's and sisters with a positive response as we adopt and do as the doctrine of God says.
