It could have been a difficult moment to withstand, a lot had happened without reaching me; I have seen people sick, and a lot got into accidents and died without any survivors; I couldn't have written this post if peradventure the worst that the devil planned happened; just two days ago, I could have lost two close friends of mine.

On the 7th and 10th of this could have been a bad day not to bear and a week that I could not forget, but how it happened is what I can't tell, but God, with his infinite mercy, has to do it for me and for my friends and my roommates after having some bad dreams that I can't imagine to tell the story before the incidents.

It all happened that in the early hours of the morning, being a Sunday morning while I was still asleep, my friend woke me up very early, just to tell me that he was going out and he started preparing to go to church service. I asked him why I was so early. He told me that he was going to another church to honor their invitation for the program they invited him to, which is quite far from where we live.

As I was still sleepy, I let him go without any further query while I went back to sleep. When I woke up, he had gone for the program. While I was trying to settle some of the domestic work within the house since I was unable to attend my regular Sunday service, he just came in with his friend that he went to the program with, I was surprised to see him at that time, and to my surprise he said, "God has saved me." What?

With his mood and countenance, I discovered that it was actually a serious issue, after a while he narrated the full story of how everything happened that a car at high speed on the highway tried to dodge a tricycle who made his way into the highway without looking left or right, and he was in the middle of two lanes trying to cross the second lane.

While he looked at his back, what he saw was so close to him that it was just a step from where he was, which was actually what saved him from smashing him into another bigger truck heading in the other lane, of which the front tire bust as the car that ran upon the lane divider where he was.

Telling me this story, I was really traumatized, as if that one was not actually enough for the devil. On the 10th of this week, another happened to my good friend and a roommate while I was still in school who left us and traveled to Abuja, the capital city of Nigeria, in order to work there due to the nature of his work and job he got there and the course he studied at school.

Not quite too long after we talked as usual on WhatsApp, the next day late in the evening, what I saw was actually the picture on his status that triggered me to put a call across to him, asking him bro, what happened? That was when he started to tell me how they were on their way to supply fish with the van and they have an accident with the front tire busted.

According to him, it all happened at a lane where where cars make use of one lane, but how it happened he can't tell. Three of them in the van survived the incident because of God's mercy, who had made it possible for them to survive it without injury and with no life lost.
