A THERAPY SESSION WITH ME

As part of therapy, I do call a meeting with myself. Yeah, you read that right and it's not like the Hollywood self talks that one does on the bed or a sofa. I set a table, get some drinks, get a book, have a clean shave, wear a nice shirt, trouser, shoes and some perfumes. With the lights on I reminisce on what bothers my sanity. Is it the way people see me? What I eat? How I dress? Where I go? Who I associate with? How I talk?
I also add some why's to these questions. Why do these things matter, if they probably do matter at all, and how can I tackle them?

I build some self confidence in taking photos, singing out loud, dressing to my taste, exercising or building my accent. If we all take out time to find our faults, flaws and failures while also noting our victories and conquest, then we don't necessarily need a therapist. I personally do feel like therapists are for the insane.

The color of your problems is the pigment you paint them with and as such if you paint them with some wowing pigments, you'll sure save you some money too. You know people have to pay for their mistakes either in cash or kind.

Your seeking a professional is inflammatory. You've got more grip than what the books teach them.
Wake up, stretch, bath, wear some good clothing and a perfume, talk with confidence, sing out loud when you feel a weight on your chest and try this, DANCE IN THE RAIN.

I penned this down cause the cost of therapy might make some die in depression. What does that mean? It means I love you too well to tell you this. You're your doctor.

Here's something from @kistarry01 to live with.

It's nice to see you've found a way to deal with your own problems, without seeking outside help. This is a huge step forward and it's helpful to share with the community. However, to reach the right audience, you need to post in the right community and OCD is not the right one. OCD is for topics that don't fit in any other community and should be used when you don't find a niche community for your post.

We have different communities on Hive and we're encouraging users to post in the right community based on the topic of the post. This post for example would fit better in Self Improvement community.

Here's a guide I put together to help you learn about how communities work and why you should use them -> Communities Explained - Newbie Guide.

Once you posted your post in the right community, you can then cross post it to OCD community. Here's a guide about cross posting.

Please don't delete any post with the purpose of reposting it in another community as that can be considered abuse! Leave this post here, you'll get it right next time.
