Cafe Central Restaurant- From day to night, walking around Vienna!

This day the idea was simply to take a walk in the garden and eat at the Café Central restaurant. Taking a walk through Vienna (Austria) any day is always pleasant. In the end it was a little more than that.. I used the subway and trams a lot, because it's a big city, but it was very interesting. Vienna is like a living museum.

Cafe Central is a beautiful restaurant and coffee shop located in Vienna, with a fairly classic style. I visited it at the end of the afternoon and it was very busy, I enjoyed atmosphere and live music (a piano concert), while I tasted a Gulaschsuppe with wine. A nice choise for a cold day like this. And as a dessert, a chocolate cake.

Everything was delicious, and the prices are not high for such a well-known restaurant, in a central area of the city. If you have the opportunity to visit it, I recommend it.

Before arriving at the venue at the end of the afternoon, I took a tour of the city.

The entrance to the gardens of the Belvedere Palace. There´s a lot to see here, and you can go inside the museum but I strolled through the gardens. In this palace you can see the original and famous painting The Kiss, by Klimt.

I loved this statue, the details are so beautiful, and the paws are just so pretty.

Then I took the subway, and I gotta say I love the traffic lights, you can search how they work on Youtube. But there are variety of couples represented here, and when the light go green, they walk with a little heart on the top. 💚

This is an icon of the Museum, the rabbit by Albrecht Dürer. It´s everywhere, even in a small restaurant at the entrance. (You can see it in the photo above).

These carriages are available mostly in the city center, to take rides through emblematic places.

This one is so good!! You have to try it, it´s called Almdudler, is a non-alcoholic sweetened herbal lemonade. Better served cold.

I found this nice shop, it was closed, because here almost everything starts to close at 6 pm... but it was a handmade puppet shop, very cool. And this section was all about Pinocchio.
