Qurator's Photo Quest | Reverse Lens Macro - Flower and Bee.
This weeks #qurator photo contest is about macro photography this is one field of photography that I would imagine is difficult if you don't have the right camera with the appropriate macro lens so I immediately thought this contest would not be for me but then I came to me remembering that my new Samsung S21 Pro with it's advanced technology has the ability to switch itself over to macro mode, this happens when you get within 10 centimeters of an object, the camera acknowledges and automatically switches over to its close-up mode how cool is that.
So knowing this could be possible even though I have never tried macro photography. I when out to my backyard were we have a shrubby tree which has all these clusters of Yellow Bell flowers and is popular with Bees, so what I did I got close up to these clusters of Yellow Bell flowers, I zoomed in and the camera on the phone just automatically adjusted and switched to macro this was amazing to see. I stood there quietly and patiently looking like a statue and waited for the Bees to come in view of the camera after snapping quite a few shots and my arms nearly falling, I had managed a few good shots which was surprising to me in how great the technology of these smartphones really are but in order to achieve better photos you need to have a pretty steady hand also.

Nice captures off a steady hand and bees that settled long enough @kohsamui99
Thank you @joanstewart it took some time but mission was completed pretty successfully 😊
These photos are pretty nice! Need to take out the macro lens for another try in the garden these days.. The first round of photos wasn't that great.😅

Thank you and i will try to stay around for a while ... Cheers @hivebuzz 👍
I have never seen such a tree! The bees look so fluffy on camera! But you know that if you want to stroke her she will bite you 😂! My sister has very strong hands so she can stand at least until the evening to take a picture of one butterfly! 🦋
These trees love a lot of hot sun so maybe where you are they don't like snow and very cold weather.
Your sister will be good at taking photos of Bees and Butterflies you have to get her to do them for you 😊
Yes. In our natural conditions it is impossible for them to grow. No one will force my sister to take photos she doesn't want to take. 😂🙂
Maybe if you ask her nicely she might take some photos for you but i think you take nice photos you can do yourself 😊
Maybe @kohsamui99 ... 🙂😁
