Kemomimi | Commission Portrait
Hola hivers esta vez les traigo otra comisión que me pidieron, el cliente le gusto mi trabajo anterior con la vampira y el corazón y me pido que hiciera uno con su personaje más un fondo detallado.
Hi hivers this time I bring you another commission that I was asked for, the client liked my previous work with the vampire and the heart and asked me to do one with her character plus a detailed background.
El diseño tiene elementos muy característicos que respete en la mayor medida. Y con todo eso en mente decidí hacer el boceto desnudo como base para luego hacer el boceto de la ropa y demás accesorios. De inmediato comencé a pintar el personaje concentrándome en la piel, rostro y cabello para tener todo esto listo para el siguiente paso.
The design has very characteristic elements that I respected as much as possible. And with all that in mind, I decided to make the nude sketch as a base to then make the sketch of the clothes and other accessories. Immediately I started to paint the character, concentrating on the skin, face and hair to have all this ready for the next step.
Ya con esta base comencé a trabajar los detalles de la ropa en diferentes capas para facilitarme el trabajo, empezando con las áreas más grandes hasta las más pequeñas.
Siendo el cabello y rostro lo que más tiempo me tomo.
With this base, I started to work the details of the clothes in different layers to make my work easier, starting with the largest areas to the smallest ones.
Being the hair and face, what took me more time.
El personaje original tiene el cuerpo completamente tatuado, así que con ayuda de las fotos de referencia, seleccione y recorte dichos tatuajes, los convertí en blanco y negro y ajuste el brillo y repinte algunas áreas, para luego adaptar con la herramienta transformar a la pose del personaje que realice usando la capa en modo multiplicar así solo se verá lo que está pintado en negro y grises y le agregue algo de ruido a la imagen para darle textura, es un método muy última para situaciones así. Para el corazón y la sangre use elementos de mi trabajo anterior y los adapte a este.
El fondo lo realicé con un boceto y separe en varias capas para dar profundidad, el cliente quería algo japonés, así que agregue un árbol de cerezos, un templo abandonado y montañas al fondo,

The original character has the body completely tattooed, so with the help of the reference photos, select and cut out those tattoos, convert them to black and white and adjust the brightness and repaint some areas, then adapt with the transform tool to the pose of the character I made using the layer in multiply mode so only what is painted in black and gray will be seen and add some noise to the image to give texture, it is a very last method for situations like this. For the heart and blood, I used elements from my previous work and adapted them to this one.
The background was made with a sketch and separated in several layers to give depth, the client wanted something Japanese, so I added a cherry tree, an abandoned temple and mountains in the background,
