AAA review: Sorry Angel (2018), French Romantic Gay Movie, Plaire, aimer et courir vite

I finally watched the film "Sorry Angel", which was shortlisted in 2018 at Cannes Golden Palm. I was completely attracted by the romantic love of the film. Today I will talk about this moving romance. When it comes to last year's hot movie of the same sex, I have to talk about the "Beats per Minute" and "Call Me by Your Name". "Beats per Minute" is based on the AIDS epidemic in the early 1990s, depicting the same-sex group that bravely fights for the sake of rights. The overall film tone is high and bloody. "Call Me by Your Name" focus on the Italian town of Elio and Oliver's endless summer romance. In this movie, you can see swimming pool, piano music, summer dance, away from the outside world. The two cannot help but attract each other. The tone is slightly sentimental bright and fresh. "Sorry Angel" is like a fusion of the two. Its background is "anti-HIV", but it does not focus on political appeals, but on the story of a pair of same-sex lovers who fall in love in such a chilling environment.
