Ancient City Wall in Fang District Chiang Mai Province Thailand.

Hello everyone. 4 days ago, I had the opportunity to go to an important ancient site in Fang District. That is the ancient city wall of Fang. Go back years A.D. 641, about 1381 years ago. Fang District, Chiang Mai Province used to be the location of the ancient city in the past, that is, Fang City. Period of time 3 of the ancient wall is a construction of a brick wall covering the original city wall. Results from checking the age of the wall between 656 – 637 years ago.
Period of time 20th Buddhist century onwards, no further evidence has been found. To strengthen or improve this wall.

สวัสดีทุกๆคนครับ 4 วันที่แล้ว ได้มีโอกาสไปโบราณสถานสำคัญในอำเภอฝาง นั่นคือกำแพงเมืองโบราณของฝาง ย้อนไปเมื่อปี ค.ศ. 641 เมื่อประมาณ 1381 ปีที่แล้ว อ.ฝาง จ.เชียงใหม่ เคยเป็นที่ตั้งเมืองโบราณในสมัยก่อนคือเมืองฝาง และสิ่งเดียวที่หลงเหลืออยู่ของฝางในสมัยก่อน กำแพงเมืองโบราณที่ผมแบ่งปันในวันนี้

เจ้าหน้าที่ของรัฐได้เก็บตัวอย่าง ดินที่นั่นและอิฐของกำแพงโบราณเพื่อหาอายุของกำแพงเมืองนี้ โดยวิธีการทางวิทยาศาสตร์ Thermoluminescent Dating หรือ Tl. ผลการตรวจสอบพบว่า กำแพงเมืองโบราณนี้ มีระยะเวลาในการพัฒนา 3 ช่วง
ช่วงแรกเริ่มก่อกำแพง ผลการตรวจอายุระหว่าง 882 – 790 ปีที่แล้ว
ระยะที่ 2 ของกำแพงโบราณ คือการพัฒนาและเสริมสร้างกำแพงให้ดีขึ้น ผลลัพธ์จากการตรวจสอบอายุของกำแพงระหว่าง 745 – 727 ปีที่แล้ว
ระยะที่ 3 กำแพงโบราณ เป็นการสร้างกำแพงอิฐปกคลุมกำแพงเมืองเดิม ผลการตรวจอายุกำแพงระหว่าง 656 – 637 ปีที่แล้ว
สมัยพุทธศตวรรษที่ 20 เป็นต้นไป ไม่พบหลักฐานเพิ่มเติม เพื่อเสริมสร้างหรือปรับปรุงกำแพงนี้ เจ้าหน้าที่ของรัฐสามารถค้นพบกำแพงที่เหลืออยู่ ยาว 660 เมตร กว้าง 20 เมตร ประมาณ 30%-40% ของกำแพงเดิม และปัจจุบันกำแพงโบราณแห่งนี้ สามารถเห็นซากกำแพงอิฐ ที่อ.ฝาง และผมได้ถ่ายรูปกำแพงโบราณนี้บางส่วน มาแบ่งปันในโพสต์นี้
