Enjoy at Wat Ban Ai and Wat Phatu Muang Pha Hong, Chai Prakan District, Chiang Mai Province, Thailand.

Hello everyone. Me and my wife like and fascinated by the beauty of the temple. When we have free time. We like to visit temples. We visit many temples in our country. And I like sharing stories and photos of the temples we visit too.

Today me and my wife have some free time, so we plan to go to the temple in Chai Prakan District. We visited 2 temples in Chai Prakan District, namely Wat Ban Ai and Wat Phatu Muang Pha Hong. I drove from my house to Wat Ban Ai, about 17 kilometers.

When we reached Ban Ai Temple, we saw a large wooden temple nameplate. The name plate is in the building like a Lanna style art pavilion.

The wall of the temple is a white wall without an arch to enter the temple. And area the left and right entrances there are huge white lion statues on the pillars of the temple walls.

When me and my wife walked inside the temple. A large beautiful sculpture awaits and welcomes us. This sculpture is Earth goddess (Phra Mae Thorani). There are 2 statues of Earth goddess (Phra Mae Thorani), small and large.

The stairway leading up to the top of the Earth goddess (Phra Mae Thorani) sculpture is a stairway shaped like a serpent. But with the tail of a serpent, the body and head of a god. The railing on the left is a green male god decorated with color gold ornaments. The railing on the right is a white female deity decorated with color gold ornaments. We like and are fascinated by the beautiful of these sculptures, amazing.

Another interesting and fascinated architecture of this temple is the buddha image hall (viharn). Although the buddha image hall (viharn) is not open to see the beautiful inside the buddha image hall (viharn). But we enjoyed the beautiful outside of this buddha image hall (viharn). The buddha image hall (viharn) is made of cement, painted white and decorated with color glod stucco patterns in the style of Lanna art (traditional arts in northern Thailand). And the entrance staircase of the buddha image hall (viharn) is a beautiful serpent-shaped staircase decorated with beautiful patterns as well.

In addition, in the temple area there are meditation buildings, a library, buddha's cubicle, and others.

Of course, we enjoyed Wat Ban Ai. And we are glad to have the opportunity to visit this temple.

🌏 Wat Ban Ai is located Sri Dong Yen Subdistrict, Chai Prakan District, Chiang Mai, Thailand.

Then I drive to the second temple, this temple is called Wat Phatu Muang Pha Hong. The distance from Wat Ban Ai to Wat Phatu Muang Pha Hong is about 5 kilometers.

This temple is located outside the community but along Highway 107. The area is mostly mountains, forests and mountain farms.

When we arrive Wat Phatu Muang Pha Hong. We will see various animal sculptures, outside the front of the temple. Such as statues of elephants, chickens, cows and horses.

This area, on the far right, there is a statue of a white Buddha. And on the far left, there will be a buddha statue in the pavilion.

At the entrance to the temple there is a large brown and green giant statue and a brown lion statue on the pillar of wall at the entrance to the temple.

When me and my wife walked inside the temple. We will see the buddha image hall (viharn) Lanna art style of this temple. The buddha image hall (viharn) of this temple is made of brown painted cement decorated with beautiful stucco patterns mixed with lacquer and gilded in various colors. The entrance staircase to Buddha image hall (viharn) is a serpent-shaped staircase similar to Ban Ai Temple, but different colors. And area the stairs there are 2 buddha images on the left and right.

In addition, the temple area has a meditation building, and monk's cubicle. Behind the temple there is a crematorium and mountain. Outside front temple is a highway and a mountain. The surrounding atmosphere of this temple looks peaceful and shady with nature.

So Wat Phatu Muang Pha Hong is another temple for this trip that we like and enjoy. Because we enjoy the beauty of the temple and the nature around the temple.

🌏 Wat Phatu Muang Pha Hong is located in Si Dong Yen Subdistrict, Chai Prakan District, Chiang Mai Province, Thailand.

These are the stories and photos I want to share for this post. Invite everyone to watch and enjoy my stories and photos. Have a great day. See you next time. Thank you for your support and visiting my post. Bye 🤗
