Enjoy the architecture, sculptures and beautiful nature views of Wat Phra That Sang Rung, Chiang Mai Province, Thailand, Thai temples and pagoda for Buddha's relics around 1,400 years old (The pagoda has been restored.).

Hello everyone. Yesterday me and my wife go to Mae Ai District, Chiang Mai Province. We visit and worship to an old pagoda (about 1400 years old) at a temple in Mae Ai District. This temple is called Wat Phra That Sang Rung. Brief History of Wat Phra That Sang Rung. Wat Phra That Sang Rung original name Wat Pa Doi Kong Mu. This temple is assumed to be built in the reign of Phracea Phrom Maharat. (King of the ancient kingdom of this land in the past). Wat Pa Doi Kong Mu and the pagoda are assumed to be built about 1,400 years. Because this temple has been deserted for a long time until there is almost no definite evidence. In A.D. 1936, the villagers found a pagoda in the forest on a hill and in A D. 2010 Monks and villagers confederate to restore the temple and pagoda until temple and pagoda is beautiful today. And changed the name of the temple from Wat Pa Doi Kong Mu to Wat Phra That Sang Rung.

Getting to Wat Phra That Sang Rung. I drove on Highway 107 from Fang District to Mae Ai District. When arriving at Thanatorn orange orchard 1. It’s about 60 meters from here, There is a signpost of this temple on the right side. Turn right onto the rural road. Drive along the rural road route. and cross the bridge over the Kok River. Drive along the route (signpost) until reach the hill where the temple is located.

View of the Kok River.

Natural view on the way to the temple, You can see this temple on the hill in the photo on the right.

Wat Phra That Sang Rung is on a hill not high. I had to drive up the hill before reaching the temple and we saw a large well with a white buddha statue and two serpent sculptures in the middle of the well.

When we reach the temple, Area we parked the car, there is a Lanna-style bell tower, a buddha image made of stucco painted in gold and a pavilion, inside the pavilion with a sculpture of the color gold Lord Buddha.

As we walk to the top, there is a small pond, a temple namesign made of wood and two pink elephant sculptures.

Large Buddha image hall (viharn), in front of the buddha image hall (viharn) there are 2 lion sculptures.

Inside the buddha image hall (viharn), there is a principal buddha image of the viharn is a brass buddha image. In addition, there are other brass buddha image and brass statues of monks. The inside pillars of the buddha image hall (viharn) are decorated with beautiful design.

The highlight of this temple is pagoda. The pagoda is about 1,400 years old which has been renovated. Nowadays, the pagoda is beautiful and distinctive. this pagoda has color gold foundation, white middle and color gold pagoda top. And this pagoda besides being old, is also a pagoda for Buddha's relics. Therefore, this pagoda is important in Buddhism. In addition, the area around the pagoda has many Buddha images.

The wide courtyard of the temple area will have a monument of the King Taksin.

Monument of Phracea Phrom Maharat. (King of the ancient kingdom of this land in the past).

Monument of Princess Krom Luang Chumphon.

Behind the three monuments, there is two brown wooden pavilion. Inside the first wooden pavilion, there will be many statues of Buddhist saints and one angel statue.

Inside the second wooden pavilion on the right is a statue of Phra Suphankanlaya. On the left side is a statue of Phra Nang Chamthewi. In the center is a statue of a hermit and a serpent. And other statues which I don't know.

The courtyard area has a viewpoint from this hill. Viewpoint in this area, we see the natural view below. We can see views of farms, orange orchard and the Kok River. So this temple is another temple that we enjoy the beauty of architecture, sculptures and natural views.

Then we walked to various pavilions. The temple area has several small and large pavilions. And inside these pavilions, there are various buddha images and statues for us to see and worship.

In addition, around the temple there are other sculptures such as serpents, elephants and others for us to see.

Yesterday's temple trip, me and my wife enjoyed and were very impressed with this temple, especially the pagoda for Buddha's relics around the age of 1,400 years old that has been beautifully restored.

These are the stories and photos I want to share for this post. Invite everyone to watch and enjoy my stories and photos. Have a great day. See you next time. Thank you for your support and visiting my post. Bye 🤗

This was so exciting to read about. I like that the relics were restored beautifully. One wouldn't believe that these relics have been here for over 1400 years.

It always looks bad when someone abandons their old account and start a new one, and it's even worse when you have spaminator downvotes on your old account and you ignore it. That makes you look very suspicious and dishonest, not something that goes down well with people.

Whatever the reason, you should be aware that unlike other lower quality shit chains, Hive does not tolerate abuse such as plagiarism, recycling, AI generated content, so please bear that in mind for your new account.

Also, what is your relationship with baibuaza? You both abandoned your old account and started a new one at the same time

I know her from hive. But we never met. We live in different provinces, which are far from each other. My wife and I have an autistic son who needs to be closely monitored. We only have free time when our son goes to special children's school. So I rarely contact anyone.

I'm just curious why you and her family share a common memo for fund transfers when you don't know one another. Can you explain this please?

At that time I asked her to help me. I don't know anything about hive and transfer. and she just helped me. And I trusted her because I couldn't do it myself.

Hello @livinguktaiwan, I wanted to share my thoughts on the topic.

In the past, withdrawing funds from exchanges in Thailand was quite complex. You had to go through international exchanges, then the only national exchange available at the time to transfer directly from the exchange's Thai account to a Thai bank account, International transfers to Thailand and vice versa are highly regulated. This process was complicated and involved dealing with several crypto-currencies.

So to help some Thais with this process, I managed their withdrawals and sent them Thai bahts directly. However, this action inadvertently led to their accounts being flagged by Spaminator in its multiple account list due to the transfer memo. Although I have never met nor know them, I have been trusted as a Witness of the blockchain, as well as the Thai propensity to trust others.

This situation brings to mind my first visit to Thailand, where my bank card was swallowed by an ATM, disrupting my week-long vacation. Fortunately, someone I had known for only three days, who was acting as my guide, generously lent me 800 euros to salvage the rest of my trip, as my bank was unresponsive, motivated only by the desire for me to keep a beautiful and memorable experience of my vacation in the land of smiles. Of course, I promptly returned the 800 euros upon returning to France.

In case you have any questions or need more info feel free to DM me on Discord (mintrawa#4996) or ping me on your Pinmapple Discord server (I joined it a long time ago).

Thanks for your update @mintrawa. I understand in some countries crypto can still be an issue, leading to different accounts sharing memos. On the other hand, we've seen many cases in those same countries ( not Thailand) where there are prolific farms all organised by a handful of people, hence spaminator visits.

As a witness, you're probably well aware how bad things were in the legacy chain and that the Hive community is now making sure we make this a better and fairer place by fighting abuse. That's why activities such as shared memos, multiple accounts ( like your good self 😉), abandoning old accounts and creating new ones ( like here and your wife) raises suspicious and we need to probe further.

I appreciate you clarifying things and look forward to seeing more great content from @kriang3teejoe and @baibuaza.
