Enjoy Wat Had Chompu, Chiang Mai, Thailand, pink style temple with many beautiful sculptures.

Hello everyone. Highway No. 107 from Muang District, Chiang Mai Province to Mae Chan District, Chiang Rai Province. And this highway is the main highway of Chiang Mai for traveling to various districts in the north of the province. Along the way on Highway 107, there are many attractions and temples. One of those temples is Wat Had Chompu. An outstanding temple with pink style and many beautiful sculptures roadside the highway.

Last month me and my wife went on an errand in Chiang Rai Province. On the way we see Wat Had Chompu. We immediately fell in fascinated with this temple. So me and my wife stop by this temple before we go on an errand. We parked our car in front of the temple entrance.

Area front of the entrance to the temple, there are two large pink elephant statues. And the walls of this temple are all painted pink. In addition, there are large pink letters spelling Wat Had Chompu in Thai. And name tag of this temple.

This temple does not have an entrance arch. But between the left and right entrances, there is a lion statue on the wall.

When me and my wife walked inside the temple. We saw a beautiful sculpture of 5 gods on a sphere foundation. We enjoy and really like these sculptures of 5 gods.

Beside the sculpture of 5 gods, there is a sculpture of the Angel of Death. I think the Angel of Death sculpture looks beautiful and scary.

The first highlight of this temple I think is the buddha image hall (viharn). Because I think the Buddha image hall (viharn) is a pink architectural style decorated with color gold stucco patterns that look outstanding, beautiful and different from other temples. Especially the sculptures area front of the buddha image hall (viharn), it's beautiful and amazing.

Large sculpture of Narayana (Hindu god Vishnu) riding a Garuda and a Rahu on a square foundation, which looks beautiful and distinctive. This sculpture is area front of the buddha image hall (viharn).

The entrance staircase of the temple, there are 2 serpent sculptures on the left and right sides decorated with beautiful stucco patterns. In addition area the serpent staircase, there are 2 giant sculptures on the left and right sides that are beautiful too.

Unfortunately, the buddha image hall (viharn) of the temple is only used for religious ceremonies. Buddha image hall (viharn) therefore not open for tourists to visit the beautiful inside of the buddha image hall (viharn). But we can see and enjoy the beauty of the door of the buddha image hall (viharn). The peacock oil painting door is decorated with beautiful and fascinating stucco patterns. There are also two statues of gods on the left and right sides of the buddha image hall (viharn)'s door.

The second highlight of the temple is the pagoda and various sculptures and Buddha statues area the pagoda. Beautiful shaped color gold pagoda. The area in front of the pagoda is more beautiful with 4 giant sculptures, buddha statues and other sculptures of angels. So this pagoda area me and my wife like and enjoy too.

When we walked around the temple area. We also enjoyed seeing many large Buddha statues in the temple area as well.

The overall atmosphere of the temple looks peaceful and shady with trees and pink flowers.

So this temple is a pink style temple with the sculptures are beautiful and outstanding. Absolutely me and my wife enjoy Wat Had Chompu. So I want to share this temple with my friends.

These are the stories and photos I want to share for this post. Invite everyone to watch and enjoy my stories and photos. Have a great day. See you next time. Thank you for your support and visiting my post. Bye 🤗
