In this post, I will introduce and take everyone to visit thai temples in chai prakan district chiang mai province, Thailand. chaiprakarn district is a district near fang district where I live. This district has many temples and is as beautiful as fang district. I've recommended and brought everyone to visit many temples in this district in previous posts. But style temples with caves in the area of ​​the temple, I have already written about 2 of these temples, namely Wat tham tub tao and Wat tham pha phueng. The word cave, Thai will read "tham".

So this temple is a temple with a cave inside the temple, the third temple in Chai Prakan District that I would recommend to everyone. This temple is called Wat tham ngam, located in si dong yen subdistrict ,chai prakan district, chiang mai province, Thailand.
Traveling to this temple, if your friend is from muang district, the downtown area of ​​chiang mai province. Everyone traveled on highway No. 107, Chiang mai - fang route. Between approx., 120th and 121th kilometer stone on the road there will be a junction with a sign indicating the entrance to the temple. On the left hand side, let your friends drive for about 4.5 kilometers to find this temple.

✍️ Wat tham ngam is located on a hill. Along the way you will find nature and green spaces that are rich and peaceful. I couldn't resist taking nature photos to share with everyone. In front of the stairs leading up to the hill where the temple is located, you will find a statue of a 7-headed serpent on the stairs leading up to the temple first. The stairs will be a flat floor style without steps.Friends can walk up the stairs that are flat and winding to see the nature on both sides of the road before reaching this temple. The height is probably about 10 story taller than a building.

✍️ In addition, along the way there is a viewpoint from the top of the hill. which friends can see the beautiful scenery of Chai Prakan District too.

✍️ The highlight of Wat tham ngam is A wide and large cave that resembles a large hall. Inside the cave, there is a large white buddha image in the posture of preaching and several small buddha images. To enter the buddha image, one must walk down a flat staircase down to the bottom where the Buddha image is located. At the bottom of the cave is an abyss, which is not very deep. Friends can see the ground below the abyss.

✍️ Another highlight of this temple is the many and beautiful stalagmites and stalactites inside the cave and look clean. In addition, the hall inside the cave has no bats too.
