Story of me and my family part 16

Every Saturday and Sunday, we rarely have any special activities together for family.

✍️ Hello everyone. Saturday and Sunday, of course my son and granddaughter don't go to school. If my wife and I, we can live a simple normal life like any other family. I think we have many activities together. Such as traveling to many tourist attractions or staying camping on the mountain. Many of my friends know that my son is autistic and that if he is frustrated he will show signs of self-harm, such as slapping his head or banging his head against the wall. Therefore, we have to take care of our son closely along with practicing occupational therapy for him. If my son doesn't go to school (special education center for autistic children), So occupational therapy training is our duty on Saturday and Sunday. In addition to practicing occupational therapy for my son, throughout the day my wife and I have activities together with the kids just playing together.

✍️ Today's story of me and my family only focuses on the story of our simple food. Food ingredients such as vegetables, the wife keeps on the land around the house as usual. We grow almost all our own vegetables for our own consumption and all of them are 100% organic.

✍️ Our first menu that my wife cooked was grilled pork. But she didn't cook it all herself, she bought the seasoned pork. Wife just brought it to grill on the charcoal stove. She grilled it with banana leaves to add aroma to the grilled pork.

✍️ The second menu for today is spicy grilled pork salad, another spicy but delicious Thai dish. This menu is for me and my wife. Of course if kids eat this dish, kids must be very spicy and drink a lot of water. haha. We don't want the kids to eat spicy grilled pork salad. We have to wait until the kids get older.

✍️ This is the simple story of me and my family for this post. Have a good day. See you again. Thank you for your support and visiting my post. Bye 🤗

You are both such loving parents, and I understand the attention you must give your son to keep him safe. I am happy that there are programs for him where you live, especially education with attention to autism. I am 95% sure my neighbor's son is autistic, he is non-verbal but understands everything around him, and I sense he feels like a prisoner in his own body because his family just leaves him alone in his room because they don't know how to interact with him. There are usually a couple episodes of violence each month, but I think the family is not equipped to de-escalate these situations.

If this boy had parents like you, I'm sure he would thrive and come out of his shell much more.

The herb you pick with the shar thorns, it is my favorite, and I put it in almost all of my food, especially larb. We call it "chee-bunlaa" in Cambodia, and it grows everywhere on our property.
