Story of me and my family part 96, Day 2 of the longan harvest at my family's longan orchard.

Hello everyone. Today is the second day of longan harvest at our longan orchard. After yesterday we harvested longan at Longan, I think about 15% of all longan from our orchard. Now, there are still many longans at our longan orchard that have not yet been harvested. Today, it's just me, my wife's brother, my sister-in-law and my wife's mother helping to harvest the longan. After yesterday, a wife's uncle helped us harvest longans. My wife still can't help us harvest longan for today. Because today my son didn't go to school one more day. So she had to take care of her son at home. But my granddaughter goes to school. So I have to send my granddaughter to school before the longan harvest this morning.

Before watching our longan picking atmosphere in the morning and afternoon. I took some photos of the atmosphere when me and my wife's brother went to sell longan to a merchant yesterday. The merchant's subordinates will bring the longan to the longan size screening machine to screen the size of the longan that we harvest first. The longan that traders buy will be AA size (largest), A size and B size. If the longan is smaller than this, the merchant will not buy. This year the price of longan is twice as high as last year.

The atmosphere of selling longans to merchants.

Today we start harvesting longans at our longan orchard around 8:00 a.m. The harvest was 30 minutes later than yesterday because I had to send my granddaughter to school first. Our way of harvesting longan, as always was that the wife's mother and wife's brother cut longan branches from the longan tree and place the longan branches on the ground. Then my sister-in-law and I harvested longan from the branches of the longan and put it in a sack. The afternoon, my wife's uncle and aunt helped us harvest longan. So today we can harvest more longans than yesterday. Around 4:40 p.m., we stopped harvesting longan. Then my wife's brother and I brought longans to sell to merchants. When selling longan to merchants, today we get almost twice more money than yesterday. We are glad today and very happy. Finished harvesting longan at my family's longan garden today. I think about 1 - 2 day is today or tomorrow we will finish harvesting all the longans.
