Hello everyone. Last week me and my wife had some free time, so we traveled to Chai Prakan District several times. This district is close to our district. It takes about 10 minutes to travel from our house to this district. Because there are not many cars on the road. We can travel on the highway or rural road to go to Chai Prakan District.
People in Chai Prakan District have a variety of ethnic groups like my district. Chai Prakan District has villages of Thai people, Various hill tribes, and Chinese people living in this district. And the majority of people's occupation in this district is farmer. So most of the area of the district is farms, which is surrounded by mountains. You can see mountains everywhere in this district.
This is the reason why my wife and I like and travel to this district often. Because it is a rural district like ours that is peaceful, shady and surrounded by nature like ours. Every time we visit this district, we enjoy and relax on the farms of the local people we pass through and see it.

We read on Facebook that there was a new shrine built in Chai Prakan District several months ago. But we didn't have a chance to go to that Chinese shrine. And last week my wife and I had some free time and opportunity. So we intended to visit this Chinese shrine. This Chinese shrine is located in a Chinese village community in Nong Bua Subdistrict, Chai Prakan District. The Chinese who live in this community in Nong Bua Subdistrict are Yunnan Chinese. Which immigrated to live in the northern of the country many decades ago.
When we reached this shrine. We were unable to visit the inside of this shrine because it was closed. I couldn't take pictures inside, So I only photographed the area outside the Chinese shrine. The highlight of this Chinese shrine is the large white Goddess of Mercy (Guan Yin). We could see large white Goddess of Mercy (Guan Yin) from a distance on the road. Take a look.

In this post, in addition to sharing some of the atmosphere at a Chinese shrine, I am also sharing the atmosphere of the farms on the rural roads. On the way home, I drove pasted many farms of local people in Chai Prakan District. The farms in that area are vegetable farms, corn farms, garlic farms, potato farms and fields. The atmosphere that day was overcast. Take a look and enjoy the atmosphere of those various farms. Let's go.

The first farm was a corn farm, which can be seen often now. Now many farmers in Chai Prakan District are growing corn on their farms. Most of it is corn for feeding animals. This is two of the corn farms now being planted in Chai Prakan District.

That day my wife and I were lucky and we see a mini restaurant with thai food cooked to order, our favorite restaurant again. After this restaurant moved to other place several months ago. And we don't know the place where this restaurant moved. We accidentally see this restaurant again.
This mini restaurant with thai food cooked to order is a restaurant of local people. The recommended menu at this restaurant is northern style curried Noodle soup (Khao Soi). Which is a famous local food in the north of Thailand. If friends like this style of food. I think that if friends eat it, they will like this dish too. Take a look, our delicious food.
