Hello everyone.

This temple is called Wat Pannaram or Wat Ton Nun. This temple is located ton nun village, jed yot road, wiang subdistrict, fang district, chiang mai province, Thailand. Chiang Mai - Fang route.

✍️ The first highlight of this temple is the large entrance arch of this temple. The entrance arch of this temple looks beautiful decorated with bright gold thai patterns. There are paintings about Buddhism and a small pagoda many pagodas are on the entrance arch.

In addition, on the wall near the entrance arch, there are statues of 2 angels and 2 Nagas on the left side and on the right side of the entrance arch. And the nameplate of the temple is made of beautiful stone with a lion statue on the left and right sides.

The chapel of this temple is beautiful.

A giant statue that is taller and larger than a person.

Examples of giant head statue located on the wall surrounding the temple.

✍️ The second highlight of this temple is the beautiful chapel decorated with gold Thai patterns, the art of the central region combines the lanna art, which is the art of northern thailand.
In front of the entrance of the chapel, there are two large and tall giant statues and a lion-like animal sculpture, but there are two elephant-like proboscis, which are located on the left and on the right at the entrance to the chapel.
In addition, around the walls of the chapel, there are many different statues of giants' heads on the walls. I took a sample photo for everyone to see the giant head statue.

✍️ The 3rd highlight of this temple is various Buddha statues and statues of gods. which is located within the temple. Which there are many for everyone to worship. I will not write in this post that Are there any Buddha images and chinese gods at this temple? Invite everyone to see photos of buddha images and various chinese gods for themselves.

In addition, within this temple, there is also the principal Buddha image in the temple that I cannot enter to take pictures because the chapel is closed. Meditation pavilion, pagoda and bell tower like other temples.

✍️ Brief history of Wat Pannaram (Wat Ton Nun). This temple is an old temple, about 426 years old, built in A.D. 1596. In the past, this temple was called Wat Ta Saeng Noi. Later it was restored and renamed Wat Ton Nun. And later in the year 1943 (about 79 years later), the government changed the name of the temple to Wat Pannaram until now. But people in the area prefer to call this temple Wat Ton Nun more than Wat Pannaram.

✍️ This is the full story in this post. Have a nice day. See you again. Thank you for your support and visiting my post. Bye 🤗
