Visit the temples in Mae Ai District, Chiang Mai, Part 1 : Wat Nong Bua Ngam or Wat Ban Nong Khin Nok Yang.

Hello everyone. How was your day? My wife and I enjoyed visiting the temple again. Mae Ai District also has many temples that we have not yet visited. And if we have the opportunity, we intend to go to all those temples. This time my wife and I go to Wat Nong Bua Ngam or Wat Ban Nong Khin Nok Yang. This temple is a sacred place and place for religious ceremonies of the people in the community of Nong Khin Nok Yang Village, Mae Na Wang Subdistrict, Mae Ai District, Chiang Mai Province. Wat Nong Bua Ngam was built in A.D. 1936 or 88 years ago. But there is no information about royal granting of the land to a particular temple by announcing in royal decree of this temple.

Today we travel without planning. Because I intended to drive around and take my wife to a temple that we had never been to and didn't know temple. We traveled from our home in Fang District on highway 107. And traveled on rural roads in Mae Ai District, a distance of approximately 50 kilometers. Before us we see Wat Nong Bua Ngam. As soon as we see this temple we stopped by to visit this temple.

As we parked the car and walked around the temple, we see that this temple is a small rural temple. And there isn't much space. The architecture of this temple has only a buddha image hall (viharn) and a pagoda.
The buddha image hall (viharn) is made of bricks plastered with cement. A nd decorated with gold color stucco patterns. Of course on the railing of the stairs at the entrance to the buddha image hall (viharn) are two serpent statues too.

The pagoda of this temple is a polygonal gold color pagoda with a polygonal bell-shaped top. And around the pagoda there are many statues. But some the statues and the pagoda looked quite old.

This temple has no entrance arch. There was only a gate and a low wall surrounding the temple. And two blue lion statues on pillars between the entrances.

The atmosphere inside the temple is a wide courtyard with large trees.
